I think Chrollo might also be a Nen genius Gon-style (can’t see but uses subconsciously), just that he internalizes a lot so he doesn’t say. We know Chrollo attended the church sermons and visited the child graves often, so there’s still more connecting to his current psychology within the flashback, just not explicitly revealed yet.

Togashi is a genius mangaka. Only Togashi can pull some dark themes and insert them randomly in an arc. The backstory is pretty nice so far and a nice break away from the prince succession arc.

One of the darkest moments we've seen in a while. And when killua ripped out that dude's heart, the "bag" was actually his chest skin. Imagine a doggy bag that you put your hand in, but it was his chest skin and instead of dog doo it was his heart.

I really don’t like the direction this flashback is going. Chrollo’s character was always lacking for me so I was anticipating some character motivations to boost my intrigue for him. Sad to say if his story in becoming what he is today is because of some revenge storyline then I’m not for it at all. Very disappointed
