I didnt like that 1. The cgi got worse from war. 2. Proximus looks like a cgi monster more than an ape. The last trilogy thrived on it’s serious and realistic execution of this world. Very sad to see that the visuals have already taken a comic book direction, even tho the plot, acting and script seem to be worthy of continuing the last movies, I am very afraid that Disney will turn this masterpiece into another marvel cinematic universe bullshit. They made too much money off that, they want to do it again now that their last money machine dried. Hopefully they dont do this to what’s possibly the most consistent saga in cinema history. The quality of everything seemed fine so far, though it was unfortunate to see a worse cgi for the apes, and this impossibly tall bonobo is very ridiculous. Hoping fir the best tho

I think he’s going to have a high evolutionary motive. Humans killed themselves due to hatred for their fellow man (one of the themes of all the movies) apes together strong like he says at his rally. He most likely wants to make a world like how it was but with no racism, hatred or ignorance as apes are United . He’s probably kidnapping humans to study them and see if he can find the secret to this knowledge. Like the lawgiver says in the og series (beware the beast man for he is the devils pawn) so I feel we are going to see Proximus wants a world for just the apes and man since they failed and killed each other have no place in it and will be reduced to animals because according to Proximus that’s what they are.

He is a giant. He's a bonobo, the smallest of the great apes. Throughout the last trilogy all of the apes have been more or less the same size as they are in real life, just a little bit bigger. They've broken that trend with Proximus though because he's gigantic, he looks like a lean tall gorilla in stature. I've been wondering if they'll explain this choice.

I feel like maes gonna turn out to be the true antagonist of the new trilogy, or ateast the main villain for the next movie. That would be honestly a nice twist... And a probably reasonable one too as for as long as she lived: she and her friends were hunted by apes. Its not absurd to assume this could turn into pure hatred for apekind and probably wanting to exterminate them, be "top species" again.
