Up to 6 Fruit Gatherers around a single Hunting Cabin. Technically you can fit 8, but that actually makes for decreased efficiency, as 8 Gatherers will need more to reach full productivity than can grow, even with old growth forest. You really only need 2 windmills to feed 12+ bakeries (I'm not sure how many in total because I don't build more than the 12); especially if you are using double sustainability cards. I usually use 1 sustain and 1 productivity per windmill and bakery. Make sure bakeries are in groups of 4 for the adjacency bonus. Also, biome bonus is based on the ground tiles under Town Hall rather than the actual biome you start in; so, if you find the right locations, you can have the grassland biome bonus while actually starting in forest for example.

I was experimenting with sustainability cards and I like your strategy. The second card does not give the same amount of benefit as the first one so replacing it with a productivity card looks like it might be better. I am a big fan of starting on grassland tiles in a biome with cannabis or tulips. It is pretty doable to get a harvest in the first year and go into winter with lvl 2 houses. Not all maps have that though.

How many wheat farms do you usually run? With 2 windmills and 12 bakery's, would like 2-3 max size farms be okay? Farms kill me every time with the amount of people needed to make, harvest, and run then run the product. Please let me know!

I don't have an exact number but find myself putting down 6-8 64 sized farms for two windmills. The real issue is whether your population is eating the wheat before it can be put into the windmills. If they are you likely need more. Or you could just import any extra needed flour to keep your bakeries running.

@@zaethosgames8671 thanks! Currently I am using the fruit gatherer method. Very productive. Currently holding 13k fruit with only about 63 pop. Very sustainable

@@mikek736 I run 512 tiles of wheat total for 12 bakeries and 4 breweries. Most of my farms are 128 or 192 tiles. Each farmer will work 64 tiles, but single farmer farms don't get fully cleared sometimes. I also feel the large 500 tile farm is broken. Please note that this also requires at least level 5 of the farming upgrades on the upgrade tree, in addition to the sustainability/productivity (or passion) cards as well as the regular building upgrades. I also set wheat production to 2000 units.

Let’s gooooooo! Thanks for the upload you are the only good resource for this game and great quality! You’re the best

Thanks! I felt like there wasn't much info out on this game so I thought I would share what I knew. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out any good population benchmarks. Higher tier houses produce way more science than lower tier ones, and growing too quickly forces you to dump resources into new houses and food buildings instead of upgrading your current houses. Growth seems to be a bit of a balancing act that I haven't quite nailed down.

Can you make a video on good bench marks for population eland other stats each year and how to get there?

Keep up the videos.

I have wondered if using a irrigation pump around a fruit bearing forest patch or ranches can improve productivity.... Basically, does fertility affect forest and ranch productivity
@zaethosgames8671 Жыл бұрын
I don't think fertility has any affect on forest and ranch productivity. However, you cannot build ranches on deserts. I haven't tested if irrigation allows you to build them there.

I thought this game was gonna be different from what it was. It's kinda weak as a city builder as well as weak conflict with other players. I only wanted to play it as a city builder, but it's a bit too simple. Anno is a much more worthwhile experience

the ranches r trash these days, i would build 20-30 sheep or cattle in groups of 4 with a granary in the middle and 2 books each, not super useful.
