Eugeo's character moment that got cut out: He was blaming himself for everything that happened and he was having flashbacks about how the kids in Rulid would shun him as he was close to Alice and he basically spent those years alone and very lonely. Even his family treated him poorly since his calling didn't allow him to help out at their farm. Kirito has always been his guide for the past 2 years and without him, he felt a void in him. He trusted that Kirito could talk his way out of whatever situation he was in with Alice. He started feeling as though he was inferior to Kirito and started to feel a little jealous. He started thinking that since Alice S30 is someone living in the body of Alice Zuberg, and that Kirito was actively trying to save the other integrity knights that they fought even though they're in the same situation as Alice S30, if Kirito were to pick between the 2 Alices, Eugeo knew that Kirito will want to save both because he didn't want to sacrifice anyone and would look for another way. Kinda sad that so much of his character got cut out (there's more to come)

The artificial fluctlight doesn’t have good adaption skills. They can’t react to a situation that they never experienced before without training. Like a computer that can’t do thing that hasn’t programmed yet. This is why Alice can’t climb the tower like Kirito. It is also one of the limitations of artificial fluctlight that Rath want to get rid of in order to use them in the battlefield effectively

That's not how fluctlights work. They are just copies from human fluctlights. They are not like Computers and can absolutely adapt to those situations. That's the entire point of creating them instead of a more usual AI like Yui.

Nah, the reason they never do things is Administrator’s fault. The eye restriction thing stops them from doing things they aren’t “trained for” as you say. They are exactly like normal people otherwise.

@@crackers5422 in the LN, even before the code were put in their eyes, artificial fluctlight have trouble disobeying order and adapting. It not that they can’t, but more like it is very difficult to do so for them. The code just make overcome that barrier much harder.

@@crackers5422 no... the eye alert prohibited them from violating the law, the hardware + software + the simulation they are running on prevent them from acting out of line. They have the potential to grow, they just need some catalyst, which is why Rath need Kirito in the 1st place
