My father has worked in food service for his entire career. His tip- if you see roaches during the day, that is one of the most unhygienic things you’ll ever see. They come out at night bc it is safer for them. So if they feel safe enough to come out in the middle of the day and with people around, that’s one of the biggest restaurant red flags

I've seen pretty much every episode of Kitchen Nightmares, but this is by far the most disgusting restaurant I've seen.

I really do believe this has to have been the worst restaurant in Kitchen Nightmares, even worse than Amy’s Baking Company. This was a complete disaster. The exterior decor was hideous with tacky billboard signage. The interior decor just had white sheets draped over the walls and no other decoration. The name of the restaurant doesn’t sound very Indian. The table Gordon sat at was wobbly. There were flies swarming all over the kitchen and dining room. The menu was scattered between American, Irish, and Indian food. Gordon was served meat in a vegetarian dish. The tomato garnish on the lamb biryani was rotten. The waitress gave Gordon an extra plate that was filthy. The beef bhuna was actually lamb. The salmon was overcooked. The potatoes were rotten. The operations manager was also the cook. The chefs cooked on the floor. The food presentation looked like something you would expel in the bathroom. The restaurant was overstaffed. The owner seemed to be surprised at this disaster. All three managers were clueless and nonchalant and on top of that this was the filthiest kitchen in the show’s history. EVERYTHING in that restaurant was god awful. There was not one god damn good thing in there and I’m not kidding nor exaggerating. I’ve seen every episode of Kitchen Nightmares and I’ve never seen any restaurant top this level of stupidity and incompetence.

Among all the restaurant that Gordon Ramsay visits on Kitchen Nightmares, this one feels like a real actual kitchen nightmare. Rottens foods, rats infestation, cockroach are everywhere, no proper hygiene, and no pest control. I know this because I have been working at alot of F & B restaurants for 2 and half years. Even I know what is right and wrong about the restaurant.

I worked in a restaurant this one time when I was young. At the end of each day, we would hose the whole place down, both the dining room and the kitchen. Scrub it all up with soap, then disinfectant, floors and walls. In the short time I worked there, I didn´t see anything bigger than an ant. Now I know the reason we did all that: because the owners cared about the business.
