Epic to see Jake in a Wetsuit! For real though these moves were a huge tip Jake gave me when in Antigua, being able to start and stop on the beach let’s you rest in between trying new tricks which is huge for progression!

Hi Jake, great video. I’m not sure if you’ve done this but can you do a video on turning or chan*ing direction and also how to easily go switch. Thanks again.

Hi Jake, nice video as usual. I was in Dakhla the same week as you, we both flew to Casablanca on the 22nd of October and we definitely did not have wind every day, especially on the 21st when there was zero wind so please be more honest in selling this location as a windy destination. I was here last November also for 9 days, staying on the lagoon and I kited for three hours in 9 days despite having a full range of kites at my disposal.

Yikes! That's rough dude! As far as places with consistent wind this one of the best spots but every where has their bad weeks. We had insane wind at the beginning of our trip. But I'm actually not sure when is the 100% ON season in Dakhla if anyone knows the best wind times in Dakhla please let us know. We need to get you foiling David that will open up a lot more rideable days! 👊🏼
@davidcrowley46496 жыл бұрын
@@JakeKelsick foiling looks amazing, there were some guys on very light wind days out on the lagoon. So expensive to buy though and looks tricky to learn. Keep the videos coming, you do the best ones. 👏

How do I get back to shore, do I walk backwards with the kite downwind or something else?

He Jake, nice tips. Do you have more footage of Dakhla? Love 2 C it. 🤙🏄♂️

Sure do! Will have a few more videos coming out from this trip so make sure to hit that bell so you don't miss them when they come out 😉👊🏼

Great video! Coming to Dakhla, what’s the best size kite? 12m?
@JakeKelsick6 жыл бұрын
Pack a big and small kite if you have it. 8,10, 12 would be a good range. It was suuuupa windy when we were there I rode a 10 most days and could have used an 8 on some days.

Now I know starting in ankle deep water is sometimes ok! I wish I found this video before getting thrashed by 2 foot waves for hours trying to start by sitting in knee to waist deep. Never again. Lesson learned.

what do you recomend with finns on the board?
@JakeKelsick6 жыл бұрын
Everything is basically the same just have you watch your fins. Notice in the strap shots on the Tona Flow I'm using fins.

Only one disadvantage with riding/sliding on or off the beach after time your board rails will get torqued and you will need a new board....lol saw many boards gibbed..

dude, nice vids, but recommend you show more how to do it on the water as you speak, even repeatedly the same clip, rather than showing yourself posing and speaking 80% of your vid..
