I've seen Garth in concert 7 and a half times (He was an opening act the first time so I count that as a half) and I would jump at the chance to see him again and again and again...

I loved this chit chat (more that than interview) between two musicians...great stories from "the gigs", and perspective on it all from both guys. Love these Kix interviews...they just bring stuff most other interviews do not. Thanks for posting...hope you continue.

There many awesome male country singers that made me fall in love with country music. Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Clint Black, Blake Shelton, just to name a few.

Garth is one of the most down to Earth guys in Nashville. God bless you, Garth! Looking forward to seeing you back on the road again soon! I know this Pandemic sidelined you for a bit, but the day is soon coming when you can get back out there and "Just Le'doux it"!!

I grew up in the same Oklahoma town of Yukon. It's not the same as when he or I were there. I have 3 bucket list concerts I want to go to, this was before Garth announced that he was going out on tour. I live in Oklahoma City, so my mom and I drove up to Tulsa and thew whole time I had chills.

Garth is the reason I fell in love with 90s Country. Then I fell for Trisha, Faith, Shania, The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, and Keith Urban.
@ambsat5 жыл бұрын
90's Country was like the second coming of Country music...for me it started with Randy Travis in 89...then came all the ones you mentioned and so many more Trace, Alan, Martina, Toby, Patty Loveless, B & D!...and just too many to mention here. It was a great time in Country music!

Absolutely agree about the traditional/current definition of the genre! Happens in every generation, folks will say “they don’t make it like they used to” and will always just make their own definition of what country music is but come 20 years from that moment, folks will be saying the same thing about current artists then. Never ending cycle! We all know traditional 90s is the best decade for country, though😎

Hey if that doesn't blow your mind this might, Doug Stone is also a Brooks, he was born Doug Brooks but changed his name so he wouldn't get confused with Garth and Brooks & Dunn, and he's also not related to either one of them.

Can this bloke get off his arse and get back to Ireland and put on a show which those people should have had when he threw a tantrum and decided to call it off a day before, costing these people thousands in travelling costs. There again they probably wouldn't want him now. Don't ever let him tell you the fans mean everything, because the Irish fans are obviously not amongst them.
