Kjersti did nothing wrong. She was belittled and shamed. And comparing it with ScarJo interviews, wherein ScarJo was asked below the belt questions like if she wore underwear underneath her Black Widow costume, ScarJo pointed-out immediately what's wrong and just laughed about it - even answered the sexist questions head on (though with funny, polite, loud sarcastic responses). However, Kjersti's intro and questions were not disrespectful IMO, and Blake should have answered politely, even though Blake became upset. Or Blake should have just pointed out to Kjersti that her query was upsetting. But no, Blake responded back by brutally shaming her. Plus Blake's icy responses to her follow-up questions were downright rude and extra mean. I was a fan of Blake's as I think she's talented. But now, I'm not sure. At this point, if Blake is still unapologetic, she should own that "mean girl" persona. So, I think this is the beginning of her downfall.

Here’s why you shouldn’t comment on a woman’s bump: it opens up to larger questions, judgement questions, about a woman and her relationship with her body, her parenting, issues she may be having with her pregnancy. A pregnant woman will be asked how many months along is she, that she is big for her term or small for her term, is working too hard, or should be getting more exercise, should be eating more or eating less. Being pregnant is a sensitive time for your identity, issues with how you see yourself as a parent, a woman, fluctuating hormones. We are forgetting she is pregnant here and sometimes when you are pregnant, you are trigged by seemingly small things. You aren’t your normal self, and may be more sensitive to innocent comments. Either way, it’s ridiculous that the world is having a conversation about the worth of Blake Lively who is an actor and not a martyr and who was rude but not criminal. What is ridiculous is how the interviewer is elevating herself to the stance of a martyr. It was a bad 5 minutes. Had Flaa posted this without any bait or context no one would have thought anything of it. Imagine that. Funny how society always finds ways to praise women then decide to rip them down ... This woman doesn't call out Parker... Why? Because she's not at the "TOP of her game" & it's just easier to get her name out there while "jumping on the bandwagon" to bring Blake down & I don't for one minute think this was just a coincidence. She's just another person looking for her 15 minutes. Let's hope it's over soon. (Also I'd LIKE see her other interviews where she asks the men she's interviewed about THEIR CLOTHES & BODIES!)

I don't believe for a moment that this interviewer had no idea about the drama currently going on with Blake's movie which is all over the media. This was a way for this woman to get even for what was a poor interview on her part. Blake and Posey walked all over her because she sat there like a meek little girl instead of a professional journalist.

Blake Lively EXPOSED As BULLY with interviewer. Mean girl all the way. Just a rude C-list actress… She made fun of princess Catherine when she was recovering from surgery / cancer. She’s ruined this directors moment to be recognized for his film and she’s obviously a bully. Please be honest. Furthermore, any apology should have been made years ago and would only be for her own interest. I think the interviewer is a remarkable woman very gracious lady and I wish her the very best. while SELF ENTITLED Miss Blake decided to turn the junket interview into being plain mean and rude with Reporter Kjersti Flaa.

@Charley-j4v2 ай бұрын
Kjersti, I am so sorry you had to endure such rude and entitled behavior from Blake and Parker. There is no excuse for how you were treated. You have probably already heard about the clarification about what happened between Blake and the director, Justin Baldoni. I just found out today that Justin did not fat-shame Blake. He simply let the on-set trainer know that he has had chronic back problems (herniated disc, etc. probably over a period of years) and he wanted to know Blake's weight and how to best lift another person without causing any further injury to his back. That does not come under the heading of fat-shaming. Although it has been 8 years since you interviewed Blake and Parker, Blake should reach out to you with an apology. It's the right thing to do. You did nothing wrong and have absolutely nothing about which to be embarrassed.

Not defending Blake Lively because she was super rude to this interviewer. Hopefully Blake will learn from this. But with that said I have seen a lot of interviews with various actors that seem similarly rude in nature. Blake Lively does not own this corner of the market. There are tons of examples on KZbin. It seems personal questions or remarks made by the interviewers' trigger actors or celebrities. Especially comments about their looks. So, if you are going to cancel Blake Lively you may also want to cancel all those other actors who were seemingly rude as well.

It’s so true what she said about feeling ashamed. We sometimes gaslight ourselves when the problem is with the other party. An apology from Blake is meaningless unless it took place soon after the interview-not now after PR issues. And NO, congratulating on a baby bump is 100% normal. Ppl do it ALL THE TIME. Any other perspective on this is a spin to side with Blake’s mean girl behavior!

@@divalicious4888 You can have your opinion, and I for sure can have mine. And to me, yes it was rude, offensive and weird, all of it. Nobody would congratulate me for my bump. I would put this person into there place immidately and tell them thats called pregnancy not bump. I guess you all did not learn manners. Obviously she did not mean it in a bad way, but still manners are manners, and no manners are no manners and it has to be called out, especially if it offends, desturbs someone. But you can say it in a polite way.
@Fabienna2 ай бұрын
You dont know me to have an opinion about me. I never said you have to be unpolite. But I think if you dont like something, if its a rule or not, you should be able to express it. if you feel different you do you and I do me. Ok. Obviously Blake acted differently than I would and that was the problem. She could have just said something about it, and went on normally. I did not say anything about ignoring her afterwards or bodyshaming her. If she would just expressed it that she does not like that word ot just said thank you but I like better the term pregnancy or whatever and than went on normally it would not become be a problem. Because really if we cannot express that we dont like something than I would say there is something wrong with the society. And I believe you say baby bump, by the way she just said bump, not baby bump, to close people and not strangers or in official meetings. Anyway you do you and I do myself. I will not respond to any other insulting messages. Have a nive day.

I don't think she didn't mean that way, this interviewer Is a foreigner, imo it is not believable that your job is to interview someone in a language that is not yours and you don't take great care in your choice of words. Especially on such a personal topic. She had to know that a bump is not a baby. Also if her comment was innocent as she wants us to believe, why didn't she explain herself once it was clear that Blake Lively felt insulted? She could just say "I'm sorry you misunderstood, I just wanted to congratulate for your pregnancy". That's what someone in good faith would have done.
@divalicious4888Ай бұрын

Guys she doesn’t like her personal life mentioned heavily in media, clearly she was a bit abrupt and dismissive which is incorrect but in a 5 minute interview the interviewer was more interested in the clothes they wore and her baby bump.. didn’t even talk about the work they did. The only other topic was Hollywood personality misconceptions and how stars are perceived vs how they are which was clearly off the topic of the movie.
