Try throwing a left hook or a jab instead of a cross after the right kick. Momentum helps your opposite side not the one you throw with.

Notice how your right shoulder is already fully extended after the kick. Pull that extended shoulder back for a power jab or if youre close enough a left hook.

If someone catches your kick , you’re not going to be able to throw a hook, the Kick-Punch is a counter to the caught kick, thnx for watching ✅
