In this video we are looking at a positive shin angle: knees going past the toes. If you struggle with knee pain, or ankle stiffness or pain, or even foot pain, there is likely the chance that your shin is not moving well.
In this exercise for the volleyball athlete, we're using the assist of the box drop to help load that leg through the foot, ankle, shin, and knee, so that push off can occur. If you want more power for push off, you have to get a positive shin angle.
