Thanks for that. Masterclass in rolling with incidents: don't try to "fix" but rather work with what emerges. Love how you made the copper backspacer. Tip: it will, as you said, tarnish but a solution of citric acid sprayed on, or straight lemon juice, can remove it fast. Also love the DIY tumber. Will try and rig up one of those 👌

Great build, it inspired me to etch my Kizer Guru the same way. I always thought the pocket clip recess looked like a little skull, nice. That arrow motif would look sick continued into your blade jimping. Thanks for your time and content.

On the sculpted “jimping” on the spine did you just tap the dremel wheel on the spine? Then did you sand the spine to get the acid etch for the shiny and dark areas? Awesome video!

Great work as always. May I have a question if that would not violate your know-how? How did you cut threads into that backspacer? Or is copper so soft that the screws have done the work themselves?

Thank you!🙂 The backspacer on the Pilar has threaded spacers that the hardware screws into, but if I need to create my own thread I just use a Tap with the correct threading. Thank you for the question and I hope that helps!😁
