Just so you know, when the guy loses it and asks Partridge if he wants to get involved etc., he says... "Night club owners in Leicester Square who get garrotted, ammonia in the boat" Boat is short for 'boat race' which in turn is Cockney (London) rhyming slang for face... boat race = face. Hence ,ammonia in the boat! Love the fact that you've gone in deep on a lot of our greatest comedies!

The interview with "Bricktop" is one of my favourite Partridge moments ever. Alan's face when things start going south cracks me up every time. The way Steve Coogan completely inhabits the Partridge character is just next level.

Alan makes a lot of references to high street shops which are now long-defunct but were part of everyday discourse. Nowadays (if there were any decent sitcoms being made by the BBC) it'd just be ebay, or maybe Tesco.

I love it that you get the lead up to the jokes. Most of the "reaction" videos laugh at the punchline. That's the US way to watch stuff. I've seen you laugh a beat before the joke because you see the set up. That is one of the quintessential British humor traits, we know where the jokes going and we see the protagonist trying to keep away from the punchline, but they fail. That is the heart of British humour, we love the roller-coaster dip in our stomach as we see the main character flailing against failure.
