And people say "shaq carried Kobe"..... Against prime Duncan, Prime Parker, Prime Manu, prime bruce Bowen, Kobe averaged 29 (while gasol and odom COMBINE for only 25 ppg this series)..... Kobe single handedly dominated Duncan/Spurs WITH and WITHOUT Shaq. Stop the hate. Kobe > duncan.

Kobe always has had more success against the Spurs, not so much Lebron. And Kobe has beatin' them well they were younger in their prime. Lebron can't even be clutch in the Finals for his team.... back to the Cavs because of that ass whipping!
@getoutnow32110 жыл бұрын
Well, Duncan have 5 championships(like Kobe) so Duncan have success against the lakers and LeBron. And LeBron is better than kobe in individually stats; in average points per regular season, in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, in FG% and 3pt% and LeBron have 4mvp(kobe only 1), LJ have 2mvp finals(just like Kobe). By the way Kobe without SHAQ never won a threapeat. And i forgot that Phil Jackson was his coach(the greatest coach of all time in nba history). So the success of Kobe is because he had a lot of help(Phil J. Shaq, Glen Rice, Ron Harper,and THANKS to Robert Horry(not Kobe) and his 3point play in the playoffs 2002 vs sacramento kings the lakers went to an nba finals again.

Well i know something a little important that you ignore. The first three championships of the lakers(1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002) were in large part by one of the most dominant players in the paint in NBA history called Shaquille O'Neal who received three times mvp finals(not kobe). Did you know that Robert Horry in playoffs 2002 save the lakers of elimination with a three-point play in the last second(right after Kobe miss a shot). Did you know that Kobe had the greatest coach of all time Mr. Phil Jackson. It's amazing that kobe lost in finals twice with Phil Jackson(MJ with P. Jackson never lost a final). Kobe without Shaq never won a threepeat again. In conclusion; Zen Master+Shaq+Robert Horry+Pau Gasol+Lamar Odom+ and the lucky black mamba= SUCCESS!!!
