I feel like certain players pick Kobe because of his iso and 1v1 bag. Kobe would expose your defense primary whereas LeBron would expose your team’s defense. Which would make sense on why players would fear Kobe more, and in turn think he’s better

It all started Kobe rookie year the media tried to make him act proper and was upset he was a highschool kid walking around with his shoe untied. To answer this question honest. I’m going to take jordan words here where he said he would smash bird and whoever else he named but then paused and said KOBE CUD BEAT ME HE STOLE ALL MY MOVES. But mcgrady also just told u same thing BUT KOBE ADDED TO IT. Like wtf else do y’all fan boys need to hear bout Kobe DAGOAT man? Phill Jackson told u Kobe and Jordan same player outside of Kobe jumper and irfan hand size and chose jordan hand size but emphasized they are the exact same player. Ima take the player who everybody consider the goat analysis here and SAY KOBE WINS JUST LIKE JORDAN TOLD YALL.

McGrady defense on Toronto was top shelf .... his effort on both ends was at Max then when he got to Orlando he was asked to score more and his effort on the defensive end slowly regressed. i guess he didn't have that extra gear stamina competitive edge that kobe had for the defensive side and that's where I feel he was lesser then kobe . just that true grit 100% effort on both sides.. but again his burden with Orlando was alot greater than kobe and the lakers So I can understand why he wore out faster and didn't have qs much oomph ... so many variables to consider its hard to compare 😪 players evenly stats and accomplishments only give 75 % perce t of the answers in q nba player debate there's just so.much more to it

defining skill purely as "who has a bigger bag" is stupid. efficiency in your basketball ability has to be a large factor. yeah it's cool that kobe can shoot a left handed fadeaway with low fg%. that doesn't make him more skilled than jordan who can get to the rim or his mid range spots whenever he wants and shoot a high %.
