While Kookaburras are a common sight in the suburbs, it is rare to see them tending their young. They often visit my place for fresh water , or to shelter from the rain, so to see a parent bird teaching their young to eat was too good not to record. Unfortunately , the iconic "Laughing" call will not be heard today, as it is normally used to warn other birds or mark territory.
Enjoy.
