@LP-ct9nk2 жыл бұрын
You clearly have never seen how pr works. You can release statements all the time which will focus on a few details, and then promptly go bury the rest of the story because you have done the bare minimum in addressing the details you want to admit to while forcing people to forget/ignore the rest. A great example of that happening in SK is the ferry incident. The government was releasing statements left and right while it was happening, but now have essentially forbidden anyone from talking about it without making veiled references, and on the world stage the incident is hardly known because the gov suppressed the rest of the story hardcore. By your logic the gov shouldn't be able to bury the story since they released statements, and yet here we are. Suppressing hashtags, tweets, and articles surrounding unsavory news for concert deaths is child’s play in comparison, and something the entertainment industry does constantly in general when it comes to news they think would tarnish their rep. It wasn’t like 4Min was a rookie group either, and yet this incident isn’t widely known. There is a reason for that

Recently, the Most Popular singer named KK in India passed through a heart attack, but his death is very traumatic! He passed out bcoz of suffocation at the concert! there were supposed to be 5000people to attend the concert but 7000 people attended it! the rush occurs in the venue! They even sprayed some gas that led the suffocating through hell! The saddest part is he sang live for 1hour straight even when suffocating and no one did anything at last when he reached the hospital he died! Rest in peace to his soul! Now, who is responsible why do people only think about money rather than doing the right management!! The same goes with the 4MINUTE concert and other concerts too! WHY THERE IS NO MANAGEMENT!! Why there is less security! The same case happens at Kpop Flex in 2022! all the fans who come to see their idols performing were suffocating there was no water! get crushed by people! Idols were falling in stages and so on.. I love Concerts but at the same, I'm concerned about these things happening bcoz it's the reality! Who's gonna fix this!!

Definitely this was a very tragic incident, and the blame cannot go only to one side. This was caused by a lot of factors starting from lack of organization from the organizers to let more people in than the capacity of the venue, to the lack of staff, and even the people who went up the shaft, which was not a safe place to be standing on; also what I noticed is that the shaft is a little off limits from the concert, and may be why there wasn't much security there, since it wasn't on the radius of that area. I do hope the families of the victim get comfort, and I hope organizers and fans will be more conscious on this types of events.

I don't even walk across grates on sidewalks and in parking lots. It's just not worth the risk. The owners of the venue certainly should have had the area gated off. I don't blame the security guards, because surely, even if they told people not to go up there, I can imagine that they wouldn't have listened anyway. And it's not like the guards would have been allowed to physically remove anyone from the area. So they did what they could do verbally and people didn't heed the directives/warnings. It's a shame that this happened but, people have to be smarter than this and be responsible for their own safety.

This is the first I am hearing about this. My sympathy to those involved. A few barriers around the grate as when you line up to get into a venue would have prevented this. I have been to quite a few Kpop shows in the States now and I can't think of a safer or more obedient crowd. 23,500 people leaving Twice twice for the encore in LA was more organized than the Delta wing of LAX flying home. Put up a little aluminum guard there and people aren't going to go there. Queuing up at the bar on the floor in LA was even organized, even past the barriers. Tell people where they can't go and generally, they won't. I would put this on the venue. Not because they didn't supply seats. "Standing room only" has a meaning. Not barricading areas of limited load bearing material is questionable. That is unless the manufacturer of the grate said that, "yeah, 25 people jumping and dancing on the grate is fine." Then it goes one them. This is not an easy one.

Since I was a big fan of 4Minute back then, obviously I heard about this. Even in Germany, where I live, media outlets reported about this accent on a frequent basis back then. A big tragedy. And yes, I think, there is someone or something to blame, which is, as you have said multiple times, the security system itself.

I’m glad people took responsibility for what happened. Safety regulations are so important and also, fans should really be mindful in these spaces. To everyone going to concerts, please be mindful! Your life is more important than watching your fav perform

The difference in this situation and Travis Scott situation is Travis Scott was told by multiple fans what was happening in the crowd and he kept going without a care.

With respect to whatever the exact particular tragic conditions were affecting that platform, some general economic and political dynamics regarding civil infrastructure remain an ongoing problem. Specifically, the integrity of virtually all civil infrastructure has been criminally neglected, all over the world, during the past four decades of global neoliberal corporate orthodoxy. The fundamentalist economic ideology of neoliberalism famously refuses to tax the wealth and corporations that formerly funded such necessary maintenance and repairs of society, including the social safety net. Under neoliberal orthodoxy, the budgets of governments become depleted and anemic, and they cannot either afford performing the upkeep themselves, nor provide rapacious private interests with sufficiently profit-maximizing contracts, so nothing ever gets done. In America, we now have a staggering amount of decrepit insolvent infrastructure - particularly roads and bridges - and nearly all public amenities have been stripped away. This neoliberal orthodoxy is causing a failed imploding system, and a race to the bottom, highly exemplified by the surreal dystopia depicted in "Squid Game."
