I told the manager to invite y’all to come eat like a year ago. I’m glad they finally did! We live a few blocks away so we eat here at least once a week. We’ve been getting it to go lately. FYI After 6:30 it becomes harder to get to go because once they get a full house they cut off call-in take out orders. So if you plan to order take out try to call it in as soon as possible! They used to put squid in their assorted soondubu but now they only put it in the seafood one. They also stopped giving packs of seaweed but with inflation they have to make cuts somewhere… It’s still a favorite in our family. This might be weird but I mix the Kim chee and fish cake in with the soup lol

Mahalo for another ono food video. Looks like the Magnolia Ice place in SF has closed. I've heard most people in the SF Bay Area pronounce it 'lee chee' and have heard just a few say 'lie chee'. As for kalbi, I eat it until there only the bone left!

I love Korean food. I would have munched the Kalbi, Spicy Pork, Pancake, Ban chan and the Tofu Soup. The Kalbi looked like it needs a char. I have to say Macaroni Salad never seems too good at Korean places, just OK. Love Halo Halo. Mahalo and Aloha.

I noticed that over the past few months Felix has become more critical about the food. The food not being seasoned enough, not enough spice, not enough char, etc.. Not sure it is a good thing to be so critical if you want people to try the food places. Based on your review of the Korean place it is be a hard pass for me.

Not everyone likes spicy or char so based on that info we’re glad our reviews were able to show you an honest representation of the place.
