7:46 Yes. The period of time for something to be considered a fossil is around 10,000 years. But the term "fossil" does not depend mainly on the time span. It depends on fossilization. For something to be considered a fossil, most or all of the original organic material should have already been lost and replaced or transformed into something else (like rock or carbon). It does not decay anymore. Frozen mammoths which are usually older than 10,000 years are NOT considered fossils. Because they are still mostly organic. Skin, bones, tissue, etc. They are just preserved remains.

Did you check out all the museum exhibits? Never been to the Mind Museum since it's too pricey for me. You may also want to try Museo Pambata (it's for kids but I found it fun) and the national museums (free I think) of fine arts, natural history, and anthropology (3 huge buildings so dedicated a day for each). But I don't think you're allowed to film in the latter ones (maybe photos without flash?) so just go for your own enjoyment and personal learning.

When you touch a positively charged object, your whole body becomes positively charged also including your hair. The concave ceiling must be negatively charged. So when you touch the positively charged ball, your hair tries to find the ceiling. You can find videos in KZbin about steel balls self-aligning themselves from positive to negative probes or vice versa. When you're outside and your (long) hair is standing towards the sky, you must run from there because a lightning is about to strike. Some people in a cruise ship have their hair standing but luckily nothing happened but those in the mountain tops were paralyzed (there was a picture of them being amused with their hairs standing before the lighting struck). When someone touches you, you may feel electricuted sometimes because of ESD (electro-static discharge) - same principle with lightning. That's why people in the semiconductor industry are taking safety precautions to avoid ESD that can damage devices/chips/ICs.

I thought when you touch a positively charged object, the area of contact between your skin and the object will become positively charged, but the rest of your body will remain neutral or negatively charged :) But I made mistakes that u said yeah my body whole (+) Thank u

@@filipinoboo You are right if there is a CLOSED CIRCUIT: your hand is touching the positive source and your feet is touching the negative source. In a closed circuit, current flows. A 100mA current is deadly to our body. For hairs to stand up, the voltage must be great (not only 1 or 2 KV but more). The positively charged object and the negatively charged ceiling must be OPEN CIRCUIT (no current flowing). When you touch the positively charged object, your whole body becomes positively charged also since there is no current flowing (there are no voltage drops along your body). But by the fact that hairs stand up towards the ceiling, there's actually current flowing in the body and hairs through the air in between the ceiling and hairs but the current is minimal and safe (

Umm You are talking about Van de Graaff? It actually operates by creating a potential difference between the charged sphere and the ground, which allows charge to flow. In addition, when a person touches a positively charged object, as you said our body does become positively charged due to charge redistribution. But there is still current flowing in the body and hair through the air. Just I think the current is minimal and safe.
