No more vlogs in the Philippines?

Hello filipino boo how are you?

Hello from Orange Park, Florida, USA. I am following your blog about taking the entrance examination for admission to UP. In the early 60s when I took it, there were no review materials available. It was truly just what knowledge you gained from elementary and high school. It was a five hour long process in the university theater in Diliman. There was only one way to get the result. UP will send you a card congratulating you of your acceptance with enrollment dates and whether to take English A class subject or English I. The difference between the English classes is your test score in the English portion of the entrance exam. I didn't know how I did until I received the card/letter in the mail. Test scores? No idea. Having review materials available now should help tremendously especially for slow readers like me. The review materials provide test takers the familiarity especially for time constrained examinations.

I also got the chance to teach for 3 months at Seoul Technical High School in your beautiful country, Korea as an exchange teacher under the Korea-Philippines Teacher Exchange Programme of UNESCO-APCEIU. Having been an exchange teacher, I get to see that there really is a comparison between Korea and Philippine education system. I enjoyed this content. Keep doing some more about it. :)

I took and passed the UPCAT back in 2011, passed it with flying colors. I then went abroad and took the SAT and got a 1800 (this is before 2016). I was frustrated, but then I realized (and this isnt to insult the educational attainment of Filipinos) the educational framework we use is lagging a good 20 years behind modern educational standards. The equivalent of a UP graduate within the US is a community college degree holder....I ended up shifting out from UP then taking AP courses abroad to enhance my learning. Eventually, I improved my SAT to 2100, and go into the University of Michigan. That in and of itself was another educational shock, but looking at my buddies back in UP for 3rd year study material on biosciences...we covered those topic in first year 1st sem and AP highschool classes....something is off.

I hope you continue creating contents, Philippines or other venues. I enjoy your vlogs but too bad I just discovered it lately.

I took the UPCAT and scored very nicely on all other subjects. When it came to math though, I was shookedTh. THERE WERE FILIPINO MATH QUESTIONS HAHAHA I teared up a little and accepted my fate 😂

your English is good for i can understand it because some Korean English speaking i cant understand even if they speak English because of tha stronger accent of Korea speaking.
