India did'nt started from west history is all data based. Today oldest archelogical findings of Indian civilization is harappan civilization near Indus river. Indian (Bharat) civilization is much older than that. Kushan was Indian kingdom not Invader Invaders are Greeks(Lost against mauryans) , Turkic invaders (Ghaznavi, Ghori, Delhi sultnate, Mughals).

Ex. 2:04 Mauryan empire was one the strongest empires in India . but they never conquered deep south . Even the mauryan emperor Ashoka the great mentioned on his rock edicts "The unconquerable southern Tamil kingdoms" . Maurya Major Rock Edict No.13 "Tamil kingdoms(chola , pandiya, keralaputra) on south , "Greeks on West " were independent from Mauryan empire .
