The power of a heavy song is often truly expressed when stripped down... Such as Epica's acoustic version of "Martyr of the Free World", it's one of their most brutal songs performed live and yet stripped back it becomes this hauntingly dark and beautiful ballad. Another great example is this acoustic cover of Dream Theater's "Paralyzed" that regularly ends up in my music rotation. It's the heaviest track on 'Distance Over Time' and once again becomes this whole other journey when performed in its basic elements. I could go on with example after example.

I used to listen to KoRn when I was a little kid. My dad used to play this album in his emerald 2003 Ram at 3 in the morning to get IHOP and McDonald’s. My mom used to have “Coming Undone” as her ringtone on her Razor and singing the song down the grocery aisles. KoRn gave me the good memories and got me through a lot in middle school when I was getting bullied at the time. I hope that one day I could see them in concert. 🖤

I've watched it again and again and I don't think that she's making F sound. I'm not even sure that I'm hearing the CK. She was probably instructed by the production not to say it, so she made a sound that's not the exact word. Still awesome. :-)
@brinta28684 ай бұрын
@@yyyyyk I agree with you. She did an 'oh' to fill the void. You have to close your jaw to make an F sound (labiodental fricative: it's made with the lower lip and upper teeth) and making a K with your mouth wide open is pretty strange and difficult because it's a velar plosive; made with the back of the tongue against the soft palate.
