Kotti Theerthu Vidu Thozhi is a Tamil show which analyses the psychological problems women face in day-to-day life. Dr. Shalini, a psychologist and practising psychoanalyst, talks to women about the problems they face and gives a solution to each of them, in this call-in show. As a viewer, you get to experience the nuances of modern psychoanalysis. The unconscious, transference, counter-transference and interpretations, just to name a few. Thematically, the programming is focused on women and women-related issues.

As a psychology learner...i can say that she is spot on with her take on men’s and women’s nature. As a man i could attest her points. Some men on the comments below sound pessimistic. To them i say “you are either very ignorant or a male chauvinist. Please change your attitude and be open in understanding the nature of the opposite sex”. Peace out.

Interviewer is not appreciating the wonderfulness of Dr's explanation!!!!! She is not qualified or intelligent!!!!!! Sari sari and asking/just vomiting questions given by somebody to ask!!!!! Not a good interview!!!!!

1. The girl who is interviewing the doctor holds a degree in psychiatry. So she is qualified. 2. Sari sari.. it's simply because of the use or to give importance only to the native language Tamil. It's just like how we are saying ok ok in English. 3. I really don't understand why do we have to be so judgemental and simply degrade a person without knowing any facts.
