Their appearance in music is legendary. Discovered by Korn, Durst becoming VP of A&R at his label and the band's he signed: Disturbed, Staind, and Puddle if Mudd, who had broken up but he had reformed with new musicians with lead singer who owned the songs. The feuds. The festivals. The girlfriends. They were always experimental and still are today.

At one time from 1999-2001 Limp Bizkit and Fred Durst were the number 1 band, group, musician for all genres of music. Fred Durst was literally like Post Malone or Drake huge. Only 20 years ago. Let that sink in. Great video. Love seeing people bringing listening to this stuff back!

Well, the Genre is Nu Metal Which is a combination of a few different styles Often down turned guitars and Slower riffs than the other metal of the 90s. It also was heavily influenced by rap and hiphop. Bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, and even early Slipknot and Linkin Park. It was a style that a lot of folks look back on as a fad. And they back at limp bizkit as the pinnacle of that fad. It became really cool to hate on limp bizkit as a trash band. But at their height they were one of Americas biggest bands and one of music's biggest names and although not liked by everyone in the industry for moment in time they had the respect and attention of rappers, rockers, and parts of their fanbase. That's the cool thing about music. It Mark's a moment. A piece of history. Welcome to the world

If you look at bizkits entire catalog rather than break stuff with an open mind you can take it for what it is. A dope band that pushed the envelope & were often misunderstood as literal when they never really took themselves seriously. Bizkit is a vice for anger rather than taking out on other things. That’s part of the misunderstanding. Frat guys were the type of guys that killed what’s cool about the band to the general public. Will always love the unrelenting energy. Yes they still tour. After all the drama around 9/11 they’ve made up and made new work. Germany is still a couple decades behind in ways so they’re massive there.

Limp-bizkit meant to stroll with a gangstah-limp, or to sag your pants: letting yo n'tz hang. They became popular because of nu-metal/alternative rock era bands incorporating different dynamics in heavy music; when G's were dressing in dicki suits like Micheal Myers and metal-shirts had all kinds of slogans and bizarre images. The children crossed over by relating to one another through movies, music and fashion and most important, lifestyles. Death metal fans liked lyrics from Snoop dogg's 'murder was the case'; and G's like phrases like, 'this is your world in which we grow and we will grow to hate you' (more human than human) {suicide is self expression} [ melancholy and the infanit sadness]. It was before Eminem. White rappers were not really heard of because it took a long time for fans to get over Vanilla Ice, they were let down, you don't understand how much of a sensation he was, he was right beside MC Hammer, that means something. House of pain was cool but they carried that vanilla ice tone, if you know what I mean, granted they had fans, but nu-metal opened up doors and everyone was exposed to everyone else (this was generation x: defiant eliteism).

LB is "Nu Metal," which was a trendy 90's sub genre term coined by the music industry. LB is as closed to metal as Kid Rick's early days. People like LB, cool, call it what you want, however, metal, they are not.

Nice! Explore this Nu Metal genre! Born late 90’s and lasted mid 2000’s. Lump these guys with Linkin Park and Papa Roach, except Limp Bizkit was a love to hate band but amazingly popular. They died as fast as they rose to fame, really fast, unlike all the other bands of their time. Fun fact Fred Durst singer of Bizkit is in Eminem videos back in the day too

Pretty much ANYTHING from that band would be AMAZING, especially their collab song with TM.REVOLUTION. Same with DOLL$BOXX, for J-Metal/EDMcore. Kraut-Metal/EDMcore has We Butter The Bread With Butter and Eskimo Callboy. Hell to the fuck to the yes.

The Limp Bizkit name is based off of a fraternity game called Limp Biscuit or also known as Ookie Cookie. A cookie is placed on a table and guys masturbate and ejaculate on the cookie. Last one to do so has to eat the cookie covered in semen. The semen makes the cookie get soft, therefore making it "limp" and biscuit is the term for cookie pretty much outside of the US. It's a gross and trolling game to be initiated into a fraternity hahaha so yeah that's where the name comes from. I'm not sure they do that anymore, but people do some messed up pranks for shits and giggles sometimes. Same way like the show Jackass.

Nu-Metal ... rock rap .... it was considered slightly corny back then for some reason.... I always loved that song, and always loved the headbangers from limp bizkit. suggestion: "Limp Bizkit - My way"

Their name is the alternative to soggy biscuit. A game played a bunch of bored teenage boys getting out of control.

Limp Bizkit are still active. They just dropped their newest Album on Halloween, called "Still sucks". If You wanna react to it, I would recommend the opening Song "Out of Style". It's a badass Tune. 💯😎👌🏻

More Korn the long hair dude that was staring at each other was Jonathan from Korn. React to all Korn except Daddy... Unless you think you can handle one of the biggest emotional rollercoaster drops in music...

this was huge in the early 2000s, I never liked them, but they were one of the most famous bands in the world, they sounded all day on the radio and tv. I'm kinda glad this fad ended. to be fair, out of this kind of thing came out three or four good songs by Linkin Park, and couple of good songs by Korn.
