sandspider there are like 3 reaction channels that are really good. This is one of them. But no one ever fucking reviews Disposable Heroes? What in the fucking fuck? Seriously. I was in high school when Master of Puppets came out. We wore that record the fuck out and blew our speakers. Went through many headphones. They’re all amazing songs. But, “Disposable Heroes” is the king. All the Metallica music over the decades, that one still drives me the most. I know many others feel the same way. No one reviews it though. It’s as if they are afraid of greatness, of actually becoming metal heads. They hear that shit and they won’t listen to anything else the rest of their lives.

Top to bottom, Disposable Heroes is a banger that never gets its due. Fucking love everything about it. I feel like when I first listened to the album, it fell into my bottom half possibly because its melodies sound almost uplifting or pleasant despite how thunderously heavy it is overall. The rhythm guitar underneath the solo section is a work of art the way it constantly changes and seamlessly gives greater depth to Kirk's shredding.

@Nunya Business Justice is the pinnacle of Metallica musicianship. People complain about the bass, but its lack only highlights the stark nature of the subject matter. That opening was written by Cliff Burton, their late bassist and it is based on classical music he was listening to at the time.

and the fact that it could be buried as an interlude riff played for so short then forgotten about shows how awesome this album is. any band anywhere at anytime would kill for that riff and build an entire song off it. "nah kirk let's just use that riff you wrote for a little bit here" "ok james"

what next? i would seriously love to see you react to "No Quarter" by *both* Led Zeppelin and Tool's cover of the song because seriously, i think that a video where you listen to both and then give us your opinion of which you enjoyed more would be great, because Tool really made that cover in their own style, or "Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" by A Perfect Circle because of how it builds up and the serious amount of detail through the whole song (it is very different to any other 'APC' songs you have listened to so far), or maybe go with Pink Floyd and "Pigs" or "Sheep" (same album as 'Dogs' and both are just as much masterpieces as 'Dogs') i think either one will blow you away. i think most people would love to see your reaction to any of these songs, and i really do think that you will love any of them.
