Here is a how-to video for installing a FMF exhaust on a KTM 250sx dirt bikes. Also a 2 stroke sound comparison between the two.

Do you have to re jet?

I went slightly richer on the main if I remember correctly. I use an iPhone app called “ktm jetting” for when I had this 250 and also my kids 50. It factors in current temp, elevation, fuel and other parts to give you a jet setting. Very handy since we are in PA and ride outdoors at 90deg and indoors at 30 deg.

The only bad thing about fmf, is that the pipe will rust 😐😐😐😐 i have the same fmf fatty on my beta and i need to clean it everytime i go out to keep the rust away.

Definitely requires more maintenance to keep rust free. I’m going to try and wd-40 it after each wash. Hopefully that helps.
