How keen would you be to go for the KTM 990 Duke? I am pretty excited!

I think it's ridiculous these days that manufacturers (cars or bikes) will charge money to "unlock" features after you've already bought the product. Kinda leaves the impression that you don't truly own the product you paid for. It's not like KTM's giving you any additional hardware for the "tech pack" or should I call it a $2000 tech scam since these features seem pretty standard on a lot of bikes? Cruise control isn't some groundbreaking new technology.

Quick shifter is in the Tech pack which you have to buy in the software enhancements. The Tech pack on this bike is not exactly cheap!
