I was half expecting the drawers to be loose, which causes them to bind. But I got lucky four times 🤣 I always say, it's better to be lucky than to be good.

I was so nervous building this on camera. It's not hard to make a sloppy drawer fit, so I was being overly cautious with material removal. So happy that every drawer works as intended. Thanks man.

Nice! I've always though I would have to use rail-and-stile for the side panels of a dresser, but I love your solution which allows solid side panels. Thanks for the inspiration! And by the way, lovely work as always.

Using a solid top and solid sides is a very traditional way of creating cabinet cases. The top and sides, and bottom panel if that was also solid, will expand and contract as one. The joinery used doesn't need to allow for differential movement, so you can pretty much choose any joint you want (dovetails are actually the best joint in this case though). Frame and panel has it's advantages, one being the overall unit weighs MUCH less! 🤣
