Is the oil hot or medium hot when you drop the kulkuls in? Do you fry first on medium hot (how long?) and then on on low till color changes? Thanks.
@FlavoursbyAR2 жыл бұрын
Hi When the oil is hot drop in the kulkuls and reduce the heat to low. Let them fry for a minute and then flip over. Fry them on low to medium heat for about 4 to 5 minutes or less depending on the heat. You will know that they are done when the white kulkuls slightly start changing colour. Fry a small batch first and you will get an idea. Hope this helps

@@FlavoursbyAR Thanks! That helps. Kulkuls will have a soft texture? My grandmother's kulkuls looked just like yours. I think the Goan version is crunchy and no color.

Hi Juliet, you can reduce the number of eggs. Adding 3 eggs is perfect to get crispy and crunchy kulkuls.🙂 Do try them out and let me know how they turned out.🙂
