What was your favorite part about this practice? What was the most challenging?
@sobesu15894 жыл бұрын
Hello Andrew🙋, my favourite part is: the throat part interlacing the fingers in front of the throat. The most challenging part is the last exercise breathing 3 minutes breath of fire. I love the whole sequence: ❣️Frome exercise to exercise i was becoming lighter and to the end dissolving 🤍nearly completley. Every time you say beautiful,🙂 I thought "WoW". 🙏 Thank you so much for sharing. Hope you are well, Sonja🍀
@RefeelYoga4 жыл бұрын
BEAUTIFUL! 😂 Thank you for sharing Sonja! I agree, once I get to this part at the throat I'm completely high and vibrating. And I do remember, while recording this, that the last 3 mins was super difficult for me too 😅 Glad that you enjoyed this challenging level 2 class 💖🤗

Andrew I must thank you for bringing this practice into my life. It has served as a boost before work to help with anxiety. It has also played a large part in some spiritual growth and shadow work. Where can I learn more regarding kundalini as it’s core practice etc

Did this practice this morning (and followed it up with the heart meditation). I enjoyed this extended version, and I really enjoy your style of teaching as your sessions are easy to follow, well paced, and often offer various options for postures. IMHO, your channel is a standout in all the online yoga channels - keep up the great work!! Warm regards, Claire (PS - I noticed the haircut too 😉)

Thank you for this wonderful practice! I wasnt practicing lately and was sitting a lot and my lower back started to hurt. After this practice the pain is completely gone and I feel myself very refreshed and happy. This practice has also relaxed me so much, that I did a very long savasana and meditation which I enjoyed a lot. Thank you for sharing your light with us 🥰

Another great sequence - I really enjoy your way of teaching, your instructions are so clear. I find the part with elbows up and down challenging, i don't know why i am struggling with my breath on this exercise. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us - Aurelie
@RefeelYoga4 жыл бұрын
You're very welcome Aurelie! I'm glad that you are enjoying! The elbows up and down (called the propeller) is one of the most difficult for me as well! It's probably the most detoxifying movements of this whole series. Not only are we breathing in and out while physically compressing and expanding the lungs, we're also expanding and contracting the sides of the spine, stretching the thymus gland in the center of the chest and creating a pressure on the lymphatic glands underneath the armpits. All together it equates to a lot of energy moving through the body, the nervous system and the immune system. All great things! 😉🙏💕

Very interesting. But great awareness dear! Try working more with Vishuddha Chakra. Expressing yourself, your truth, even if it's not popular opinion or might offend someone. Usually what blocks Vishuddha most is our inability to express somerhing. You can also practice chanting and singing. Physically you can do neck rolls, twists, shoulderstand, fish and plow pose. Ujjayi pranayama and Jalandhara Bandha are also great ways to open the energy in the throat. Hope this helps! Thanks again Jeannie 🙏🏼💕

And we'll see what's to come next... maybe the 10 day challenge in August will be super powerful for Ajña too? 😉😉

Whenever I do the bit at the end with my arms up and fists out and the kapalabhati breathing. My girlfriend laughs at me and says "ya not right man" I say "now listen love people have practicing this for 1000s of years. And it works. I have high blood pressure and if heard you shouldn't do certain techniques of breathing. They have never harmed me if anything they have oxygenated my blood. Helped me to focus. I feel more at peace and see situations more clearly. Anyway my friend. Nice cat.. I have a bichon frise (a fluffy white lap dog) and i love her dearly but she gets in my way a lot when practising. So I have to go in another room where is peaceful to practice. Lol although I still can hear her sniffing behind the door
@RefeelYoga4 жыл бұрын
Your dog sounds super cute! I really love dogs! 💗 In regards to blood pressure. There may be some practices that are not advised. I'm not a doctor, nor am I certified to give medical advice, but I also believe that the standard for 'high blood pressure' is intentionally set low to sell more medications. When I was in my 20s I was labeled "hypertensive". No, I was just a high energy kid. Not unhealthy, stressed out and needing heart medication! These standards don't take into account body type, constitution, personality, etc. Aside from that... I think these practices are the best way to strengthen and tone the whole nervous and cardiovascular systems. So long as you stay within your comfort zones you are doing good for your body 💕🙏🏼

Namaste, Andrew! Oh, how I love this video. It's become one of my go-to videos, and I am deeply appreciative for your kindness and generosity in sharing your insight. When you speak about squeezing Mula Bandha and sending the energy up to ajna, should we also be holding uddiyana bandha? I've been doing yoga for a while now, and it's actually become sort of difficult for me to do one and not the other, usually they are both locked. Just curious, you don't mention it much...
@RefeelYoga4 жыл бұрын
Namaste! I'm very happy to hear that you are enjoying this sequence 💖 As for incorporating Uddiyana, if you are comfortable and familiar with this practice, then yes, do it. There are certain things we do not teach fully because they can be very powerful, but if you know the next step, or if you hear some voice from your intuition guiding you to add something, then go for it!

Looking at the third eye gave me a headache and so did the fast breathing. In the first spinal series I was fine I’m not sure what happened
@RefeelYoga4 жыл бұрын
No worries Anna! This is common of both of these practices. They are both super purifying and one common result of purification is headache. Even if you were fine with the practice last week; it could be that you ate something heavy, drank something not so pure, breathed some air with smoke or chemicals, or were just around some negative energy, and during the practice it is being pushed out of your system. When this happens celebrate, because it is a sign that your body is cleaning itself. But also, go easy. We don't want to burn ourselves. So if you feel this pain coming, breath slower, relax the eyes a little. Continue the practice as it is manageable for you. The energy will move and it is very likely that the next time you come to the mat it will not happen in this way. Maybe next time purification will happen in another way, like laughter or tears, heat or bowel movements. In the same way, celebrate and go easy, as you need. 💞🙏
