Hello! Thank you for this! I tell everyone, every Kung Fu movement starts and ends with the breath. Kung Fu is not fighting, Kung Fu is calm focus. The first thing you mention is breath, deep breathing and you carry every motion through with the deep breath. You rock! I want to share this with you: Peer reviewed article from *Nature*: "Prolonged, elevated cortisol levels in animals are also shown to cause atrophy in the hippocampus and hypertrophy in the amygdala, largely through changes in dendritic remodeling. These structural changes may contribute to deficits in appropriate feedback onto the HPA axis." Results from Berkely Study Interpreted: "Activity in the amygdala suggests that quick breathing rates may trigger feelings like anxiety, anger, or fear. Other studies have shown that we tend to be more attuned to fear when we're breathing quickly. Conversely, it may be possible to reduce fear and anxiety by slowing down our breath." "Deep breathing causes the vagus nerve to signal your nervous system to lower your heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol. Taking just ten deep breaths can assist with relaxation and provide a sense of calm."

I was having a lot of asthma attacks recently-at least one a day but sometimes two or three. I started doing this every day four days ago and haven’t had an asthma attack since. Thank you, shifu!

It is an awesome one off guide for discovering unbelievable techniques to build your Chi energy minus the normal expense. I had been doing Kung fu during the quarantine last year since I had time and meditation since I was 12. Today after a long while I reconnect with Kung fu by following a 15 and a 25 minute long workout by your channel with you as the teacher and I just finished off with this qi gong session. I just did this at 1:50 am..I felt like crying during the end inhale and exhale. .my mind and body all agreeded..this was so free and open I felt the inhale all the way through my shoulders my sternum my ribcage my serratus anterior my lower lumbar and it felt Awesome and each time it was more intense and freeing. This exercise is very gentle and nice. Thanks for uploading. Little guidance I need from you. After practicing, I feel like my upper and lower body not connected and feel imbalanced while walking. There is also little stiffness in my lower back. Pls suggest wherever correction is required
