Hello! Thank you for this! I tell everyone, every Kung Fu movement starts and ends with the breath. Kung Fu is not fighting, Kung Fu is calm focus. The first thing you mention is breath, deep breathing and you carry every motion through with the deep breath. You rock! I want to share this with you: Peer reviewed article from *Nature*: "Prolonged, elevated cortisol levels in animals are also shown to cause atrophy in the hippocampus and hypertrophy in the amygdala, largely through changes in dendritic remodeling. These structural changes may contribute to deficits in appropriate feedback onto the HPA axis." Results from Berkely Study Interpreted: "Activity in the amygdala suggests that quick breathing rates may trigger feelings like anxiety, anger, or fear. Other studies have shown that we tend to be more attuned to fear when we're breathing quickly. Conversely, it may be possible to reduce fear and anxiety by slowing down our breath." "Deep breathing causes the vagus nerve to signal your nervous system to lower your heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol. Taking just ten deep breaths can assist with relaxation and provide a sense of calm."

I was having a lot of asthma attacks recently-at least one a day but sometimes two or three. I started doing this every day four days ago and haven’t had an asthma attack since. Thank you, shifu!

I started this video before bed a few nights ago and noticed I too am breathing better. We have unusual humidity this year so I really needed this.

Cheers for the Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Xeyack Qenaleb Bulldozer (google it)? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering unbelievable techniques to build your Chi energy minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy after many years got excellent results with it.

I have been assaulted by a person in out of control anger today, and although i am ok, i did not retaliate and am only graised and bruised I am very grateful for this healing video as it reminds me there is much gentle wisdom and respect in people, it is clear to see in your example. Oh I’ve been loving this video for before bed. Can you do a video for before bed vitality? Many sexual assault survivors have energy that is locked up and does not flow with vitality. Thank you 🙏

I had been doing Kung fu during the quarantine last year since I had time and meditation since I was 12. Today after a long while I reconnect with Kung fu by following a 15 and a 25 minute long workout by your channel with you as the teacher and I just finished off with this qi gong session. Thank you for giving me the chance to do so.

I just did this at 1:50 am..I felt like crying during the end inhale and exhale. .my mind and body all agreeded..this was so free and open I felt the inhale all the way through my shoulders my sternum my ribcage my serratus anterior my lower lumbar and it felt Awesome and each time it was more intense and freeing. Thank you Soooo Much❤️

A life saver. I am recovering from surgery and rebuilding my life. Due to limited mobility this technic relaxes me and makes me use my muscles by stretching.

@@nette9836 well Nette, through people's stupidity, it seems like lockdown is inevitable! I went to Oxford Street a couple of weeks ago & in comparison to how it used to be...it was empty! So strange to see it like that! People are now panic buying again.......empty shelves in supermarkets! Mankind will never learn!....stay safe 💕

I love your videos because it's nice to see a martial artist who appears to be friendly and can smile. You have such enthusiasm and energy in your voice. I must be tired today because I was yawning throughout the video. What do I do when this happens because it interrupts the breathing.

This exercise is very gentle and nice. Thanks for uploading. Little guidance I need from you. After practicing, I feel like my upper and lower body not connected and feel imbalanced while walking. There is also little stiffness in my lower back. Pls suggest wherever correction is required
