A Kwik Recap: 1. Do an assessment of the previous 6 months in the areas that are important to you. 2. Accept what you can't change. Change what you can't accept. 3. Aspire to inspire. Seek to attain a new goal, vision, life, etc. 4. ACT - The big one on the list. Nothing works, unless you do. Knowledge * Action = Power 5. Axe. Stop doing things to make space for other things. Create a Not-to-do list 6. Add. Start doing something else to fill the void. Remember the 6 A's - Assess, Accept, Aspire, ACT, Axe, and Add. Comment below what you want to accomplish or do in the next 6 months...

Love this and so you know I have been telling people I know and today, a grandma with 19 grandchildren from 3 y/o up to college age, who was at the craft store in the yarn section with me, about you ( and with the grandma, one parent to another, I suggested you) here on KZbin as a great resource for teaching children and grands how to learn. Somehow I guess between your name and my comments I end up getting thanked and your name remains on the lips and hopefully in the mind of the person I'm talking to. I always spell your name and after a few other sentences I ask the person to repeat the resource--i.e. you. People are looking for solutions and you have them. Thank you Jim Kwik for being you!

Jim shared a great story, & I encourage you to listen, but if you want to dive right in, he starts around 19:55. Here's a Kwik breakdown: Win the Next Six Months with the 6 A's: 1. Access the past 6 months 2. Accept what you can't change & change what you can't accept; you're a work in progress, only compare yourself to the best version YOU. 3. Aspire to inspire; What new vision do you have? 4. ***ACT*** knowledge isn't power unless you work it - information w/o application is useless. Knowledge x Action = Power; for every hour you spend learning, spend an hour applying what you've learned. 5. Axe - nothing changes if nothing changes; stop doing something or start doing something (create a to-do-list & not-to-do-list). 6. Add - when you stop something, you must fill in the void; replace a bad/unproductive habit with a good/productive one. "You always have 2 options, to step forward or to step back. Be determined NOT to be defeated. Let your desperation be your determination" [motivation, inspiration].
