I agree with you re: the Gipson hit. The ball went right through the receiver's hands at the same time that Gipson was in flight to hit him. You're supposed to hit the guy with everything you've got! There should only be a penalty when the ball is out of play and the defender knocks the receiver's head off unnecessarily.

My browns played a great defensive game. Held SF to the lowest yardage since 2014 and put 2 of their best players on the injury list. We not only won but possibly altered the trajectory of the 49'ers whole season. I love it.

I absolutely love CMC, but the Niners have overused him in the first 6 games of the season. I agree that these kind of games happen. CMC needs to sit out a game or 2 and rest up cause we will need him especially down the stretch. Kyle Shanahan better have learned that JP Mason is our backup RB to CMC. Mitchell is injury prone and not ready. I'm ready to see Mason be a workhorse in this offense. Niners will get the W next Monday Night and are still a great team. Deebo needs to sit out a week or 2 as well and rest up. Niners are good enough to win without both CMC and Deebo for a couple weeks. Purdy will step his game up next week. Go Niners! They will be better prepared next week and moving forward. Niners were just due for a loss today.

The referee pass interference call was so horrific that it allows no other way to reflect on these games other than they are rigged for betting reasons or for other reasons. I stopped betting 10 years ago because of these horrific referees and calls. Anyone who is a fan of the 49ers or bet on the 49ers to win that yesterday won that game and you should have your victory or your money. I have witnessed hundreds of these rigged calls which alter entire games and money and seasons. would tell anyone who bets on these games that they are crazy and you can not beat the team and a rigged system.

Tackling has been suspect for a while and (since the Browns watched the vids) they knew SF tackles the shoulder pads instead of the knees and gave many defenders a piggy-back ride. The ball carrier is not going anywhere his knees aren't; wrap up the knees and don't let him to a CMC on you.

So, I'm coming from the Browns side of things. The game was rough on both sides. Missed calls, bad calls by refs, missed kicks- both kickers.. in the end. It was a physical game. TBH, the Browns had their 3rd string QB they just signed like 2 weeks ago, and only was named starter this last week. Stefanski didn't set up his Qbs the last couple weeks appropriately. Yeah, you had injuries, but Cleveland is also missing their starting RG, Rb, LG, and QB.. It really could've been worse on both sides. Other than that, enjoy the season.

Purdy got to do a better job controlling the situation when the team is out of sync.. it will take some learning curve between Shanahan & Purdy calling plays when the team is not fine tuning... I remembered Tom Brady early years when he didn't play great qb for 3 quarters, then play great last few minutes, come back and win games. The difference then? Brady had the greatest CLUTCH kicker in NFL to win games for Brady. Purdy got a rookie kicking the ball. No worry, onto next opponent.👍

Need another veteran WR to calm down SITUATIONAL disadvantages, because Deeboo is a playmaker, not a strong route like BA, and a pass rusher opposite of Bosa. Also, corners are getting expose on some big plays. Imo, there's 4 key areas to shore up or just prevent from injury, imo.

You made the mistakes when it mattered Kyle. 3:00 to go, with the lead...run on first down, do not risk int or grounding. Then, after the ayuk play, and run after, keep trying to drive closer with 40+ sec left, do not sit on it and waste the potential to make it a chip shot at the worst.

It jinxes the team, and it helps push them into a lazy and complacent mindset where they end up just like Dallas, buying into their own hype and letting overconfidence take the fight out of us. Today wasn't about the refs, the injuries, or anything like it. The team didn't come to play. I don't know what the reason was for it, but I doubt the fans pushing the "we're guaranteed to win" mindset on them on social media didn't affect them in some way.

The Jake Moody experiment is over. Is time to wake up, get Lynch to call Robbie. Yes, we didn't play well overall, but make no mistake, we still should have won this game without a question and Jake Moody cost us. I am sorry, but that is just a fact. You cannot be serious about going on a run this year when your kicker panics in big moments. Rectify your personnel mistakes now before is too late. When you get to the postseason, every game is one and done and there is zero margin of error. You can absolutely lose a Super Bowl to a missed FG.
