I have 2 beautiful son's. They are Italian and work together running their own business called Bommarito Fine art photography ! They have very different personalties. The oldest one is very deep, thoughtful and loves to write and cook. The younger one is super artistic and adventurous and loves to laugh! Both are grateful to work together and see it as a blessing. You will absolutely love the journey of having 2 boys. Never a dull moment 😊❤

Congratulations 🤗. The reason your son is different is because he has no screen , no sugar, and his play is learning through your interaction with him. . 😊. When you bring the second sweet son home, realize it takes time to get in a new rhythm, so be patient with yourself and Guido.🥰. I truly believe God blesses each of us with our children for us, as their parens, to pour into their lives as much as possible. People use the term, "qualityy time over quantity," but no, its both. What a joy it is to be with your own children, to teach, love, and even to be bored with them. .My mother, taught us how to spend time being bored but never lazy. I love her so much for walking us through all the varios emotions and circumstances of life because she and my dad were there until we were young adults and left home. Teenage years were most important. I never remember coming home from school to an empty house. It was ideal and Im aware. My point is to make it a priority if you possibly can. Plus,my grandparents were very involved, as well. My parents also prioritized their marriage. We were so secure in their love and commitment to one another and to God we never had to worry our family would break. My parents wouldn't let it. They worked at itmwith the firm mindset their was no other option than life together as a family. Im 73 now and am so very grateful for the life they made for us. Thanks Kylie.😊

The way your mother raised you and your sister is exactly how I raised my son. Sleep, food, love, affection, rules, boundaries and more. It’s just common sense in my book. It’s easy, it’s just choices and putting your child’s upbringing first is essential. I strongly believe if that’s not going to be first and foremost, rethink it. Kids thrive on knowing and understanding expectations. It just makes life better for all. And you don’t have to be a stay at home parent to implement this, one just needs to be consistent. You both are doing an amazing job at life in general. Beautiful to watch you all and thank you for sharing it with us.

David, congrats on being a 6x grandpa. I too am a 6x grandparent living in California. I always dreamed of moving to Italy, if not permanently, at least for a very long vacation. We are about to retire and move out of California, due to the cost & poor management of our state. We're looking at Georgia, where our first son moved 3 years ago with 3 of our grandchildren. The hardest part will be leaving our son in California & our 3 grandchildren here, my siblings are also still in California. All of our friends have moved out of California, our closest friends moved to Texas last Christmas. They are enjoying it very much. God Bless your future move.

It’s such a joy and I know you’re going to embrace your journey with so much love and joy. I’m Malaysian and now after my kids are all extremely independent I’ve moved to North Italy finding my own path for another 50 years hopefully. Life is full of surprises and possibilities. Enjoy the journey Kylie. Children are a huge blessing. Wishing you well. May you have a blessed and safe delivery. I agree on journaling. I journal a lot and it’s my way of speaking out. Another mother of two boys (ours were 2 1/2 years apart). I remember when our second son was born, the older one's nursery school teacher asked him who his best friend was and he said his brother, of course. And, so it has always been. They were each other's best men at their weddings and now they are parents of our five grandchildren and they rely so much on each other for advice and camaraderie. I will say that our second son "gave" his older brother a bicycle when he was born as a thank you fro welcoming him into the family--and that did a lot to make our older son predisposed to like and love the new baby. Five years later, we welcomed a daughter and the three of them are very close but the boys definitely have a special bond. Sending you heartfelt wishes for an easy last trimester and delivery of this precious new life. xo

Totally agree with your mom. As a mom of one son I never went through the temper meltdown that I see today. He never destroyed we spoke to him in proper english and got him interested in books and time with us. It paid off. We have an amazing relationship with him still at 28yrs we go on trips still and before he proposed to his girlfriend he talked to me about it. He is an engineer and is wonderful human being. I love his finance. Kylie whatever sacrifice you and your husband make for your children will pay off in spades. Good for you!

Thank you so much for your authenticity in your videos. I have so many friends who are in the stage of wanting families and relationship, improving themselves, serving their communities, and yet they do not have partners to love or be loved by. It is such a difficult thing to watch and I was so glad someone was speaking to it online in a way that is so caring towards those individuals. My husband and I are expecting our first child next summer and I was encouraged when you were talking about fertility and not waiting until the circumstances are perfect necessarily if you long for children. We are in our mid 20s and I have been worried that we will encounter some disapproval for not waiting until we were more permanently settled to begin a larger family. Your videos are so uplifting and your graciousness is beautiful!

Mom of two boys here, three years apart. They were the best if friends and worst of enemies. With my boys it swung the gammet. If they were quiet I knew they were into something probably together, that they shouldn't be in to or doing. They were the joy of my morning and the sorrow of my afternoon. They are grown now and I miss my little boys so much. When they are small they are so sweet and cute, and cuddly. I miss the even the mess and noise of my little children. My advice ia to find toys and intrests they both share but also things they like individualy so that they will play together well but also have something to do on their own when they need the separation time. Enjoy them as much as you can. God bless you.

One loved art growing up and is an artist and the other was into music and trying different instruments. I am a momma to four kids, my first three are all boys, just under two years apart. We love our boys so much and the proximity in age is so fun. It was pretty crazy when they were babies and toddlers, but we made it through and had a lot of fun with them (and still do)! Each of our kids are so different personality-wise. We parent them differently based upon their needs. We are in the teen and preteen years now and we love it. Don’t listen to people who say that teenagers and two year olds are categorically awful, each stage has its challenges, but children are such a blessing and a joy. You seem like a wonderful mother and it’s a delight to watch you enjoy motherhood. May God bless you with more!

Our mum was always very calm, but also very clear about consequences if we behaved badly. I had 2 boys, 2 years apart. I was hoping for a girl the first time, and actually cried when the ultrasound showed he was a boy. But oh my gosh! I fell totally in love when he was born, and he was the most amazing, fun, sweet, loving, and smart little child, and I would not have traded him for a girl! With my 2nd pregnancy, it really didn't matter as much to me. My son wanted a brother, and I now had the boy experience and found it to be the greatest joy of my life. Yes, I had another boy, and he was an equally amazing little child and both of them have grown into successful adults who have made us incredibly proud. And, guess what? Son #1 and his wife had their own little boy last year, and Son #2 and his wife are expecting a little boy in the spring! Yay for little boys!! (BTW - before the boys had children, we did a family trip to Italy and stayed in Tuscany part of that time. We all have the fondest memories of that part of the world!)

My son was very independent and enjoyed playing by himself. While I was cooking dinner or doing laundry, I would check in on him and he would have created a story with his toys, or pretend to read one of his books (before he could read). He was reading very early, in pre-k. I find with boys, they feel harder in the beginning (my son was NOT a good sleeper), but they get easier as they get older. My brother has 3 boys 2 years apart. Such different personalities! I find with them, it’s sometimes a matter of finding middle grounds; be it with games, toys, etc…. But, again, every child is different and your cues will come when the new baby boy arrives!!

My two sons are now in their 30's. No gender reveals in those days...at first I thought I wanted a girl the second time around, but was actually relieved when we had another boy because I knew what to expect lol! We were fortunate that they weren't destructive, got along well (for the most part...we only heard what tricks they pulled on one another when our eldest was best man at his brothers wedding and shared their shenanigans!) Having two sons is wonderful, enjoy! Best wishes for this exciting time in your life! Sending lots of love from California!

Thank you! To be honest, that was my concern, having not grown up with brothers and seen friends whose boys destroy everything in sight, but so far Gianfranco doesn’t seem to have that temperament and it’s encouraging to hear your boys didn’t either. 😊

I agree with you that a journal is really helpful especially when you are trying to work something out. I use regular notebooks and throw them out when they are full. They have served their purpose and I don't want them hanging around! They have served their purpose

Skin care really all comes from within - hydration, nourishment, all of it. And it’s good to remember that our skin is our largest organ, and what you put on your skin eventually gets into your bloodstream so keep it natural!

I have 2 boys 2.6 months apart. They shared a room together until they were 10 and 12.6 we added another room to the house and they could have their own room but they wanted still share their room and did so until they moved out. Later in life they worked together for years. They are now 40/43. I always wanted a daughter but I now have granddaughter which has been so fun!!! Enjoy your sons it will be wonderful!! My boys were so sweet until the high school years. Very rough!! But they came around.😍😘

Hi Kylie...Last time I commented was right after you delivered your first boy. However, when you asked for mother's who had more than 1 boy, I had to write again! We had two boys, 2 yrs & 3 months apart. I too would have loved to experience raising a little girl (I came from a family of 3 girls), but the Lord knew what He was doing when He put our family together. I thought I had raising boys down (having already given birth to 1), but our boys couldn't be more different. Our first son was more quiet, loved reading and working on his computer, art projects, driving cars, and eventually learning to fly my father's private airplane. He was more of a loner. He also had a very bad case of colic; crying from 4-8:00 pm every day for 5 months. It made my first mothering experience challenging, frightening, and I was afraid of what each day would hold. I felt completely inadequate at being a mother. Magically at 5 months he completely changed, and became a happy baby thank God, and I was so thankful as we began to bond and I enjoyed mothering more and more. My second baby was completely different. Both birth methods were completely the same by the way, we used the natural Lamaze method of giving birth, something that was popular in the 1980's when I gave birth in the US. My second son was happy from the moment he woke up; almost never cried, adventuresome, social, loved to build things with his hands, was very physical, and always wanted to be outside. As my boys grew, they complimented each other. There was friction when they were younger, as one was more careful with his things and didn't want them bothered, and the second boy just wanted to play with his brother and would "pester" him a bit. However, as they grew they learned to work together, and truly enjoyed having each other around. I loved being the mother of boys, truly I wouldn't want to change anything, other than wishing my first boy wouldn't have had to suffer from colic for so long. But being a mother of boys has been so special. I'm excited for you and your husband. Praying your birth experience will be so much better this time around. God Bless you sweet lady.

Wow. Thank you for sharing all this. That sounds like my experience with Gianfranco - screaming in pain while I held him and rocked him sometimes for 5 hours at a time, every day. Then he magically got better. Interesting to hear how two children of the same gender, raised in the same way can be so different. Makes me excited to meet this next child. 😊

@@KylieFlavell Yes I truly felt for you as you were going through your initial struggles with Gianfranco, but you were getting so much advice I didn't want to just add to your frustration. My sister put me in contact with a group called, LaLeche, and that book helped me the most. I was eliminating everything...didn't drink any alcohol or coffee from the time I got pregnant with both boys. I eliminated gassy veggies, chocolate, and on and on. Nothing seemed to help, oh and the doctor gave me some kind of "drops" to help with the colic, but I was afraid to use them. I remember how alone I felt, I didn't know any other women who stayed home with their children. It was so isolating. I nursed my first boy for 16 months, and had to quit nursing my second early (9 months) as my milk supply started to drop off. Anyways, I was so relieved my second boy didn't suffer like the first. Quite honestly, I'm surprised I wanted to try again for another baby, the first experience was so hard on me. But time does heal...you forget a bit.

Kylie, I guessed right! The give away for me is the fact that you only look pregnant in the belly. When I carried my girls, weight was dispersed evenly all over. I also had more morning sickness with my two girls compared to being pregnant with my son. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful informative video.
