KYW Tower

View from ~800 feet on the KYW tower in central New Jersey.
Tower is 1000 feet in total, the job was to inspect the coax for a microwave antenna in the white fiberglass enclosure seen overhead.

The local tower for TV down here is 1800ft. They have an elevator in it so they can get up and down. 800ft climb, no thanks but keep up the good work that you do. And first poster.

Never taken a tower elevator but my father has in his time climbing, from his account it was the most rickety lift he'd ever been on, said climbing ladders felt safe by comparison.
