Good review! You put that knife through it's paces, like I knew you would, lol. Some people read a comment, and because it sounds good, they take it as gospel and parrot it everywhere. Not all ferro rods are the same. As for Exotac, unlike many other brands, their handles don't fall off because they are threaded into the handles, and because of that they are also replaceable. The knurled handles provide a firm grip even if your hands are wet and cold. Also, different manufacturers use different ratios of all the various ingredients that make up a ferro rod. Some are harder, some are softer. Harder ones will last you longer, but softer ones will throw gobs of burning metal that burn longer on your tinder pile. Just because they all throw sparks does not make them equal. Whether a person decides it's worth spending extra on any piece of equipment when a cheaper version will get them by is entirely a personal choice. A person who uses their equipment once or twice a year probably doesn't need the best of the best, but those who spend a lot of time out in the field usually realize that it's well worth spending the extra for a quality piece. Different strokes for different folks.

No doubt your exactly right and thats why I have both lol, but that person said there's nothing premium about exotac which makes it obvious to me they know nothing about the product especially the fact they're made in America by Americans smh lol

I do love lt wrights knives but sadly this is not one of them even though I’ve HAD the scandi and saber versions. I just don’t understand makers’ urges to put a scandi on a kephart, when there’s the woodlore, puukko, skookum etc… I believe if the genesis was a bit thicker for the full convex version with 3v or o1 would be a perfect knife but to each there own!

Please,Which handle do you like to use more, the Genesis or the GNS? Also, which knife of the 2 would you keep, if you could only hae one? Thanks in advance

Personally I like a contoured handle the best, but a broomstick style handle is good too. Unfortunately you won't know for sure until its in hand but if I had my choice the GNS handle with a saber ground drop point blade around 5 inches lol. Hope that helps lol
