Best rules out there!! Thanks for the commentary. I like how the designers show how spread out units were in actuality, especially the allies. We've adopted these rules to miniature gaming - they work well!

Ah, well, to each his own. I appreciate how the maps permit the counters to stand out. Reinforces my expectation that during play maps are passive and counters are active.

An oversight in the setup, quickly corrected by Marshal. They start around Bautzen extending to the far SW corner of the map. I might've expected them a little farther north, but they are there.

Those entrenchment markers **aren't** 'porn staches'??? I thought I heard funky wah-wah pedal music in the background when you were talkin' about those!!! :D I agree with palibrae, those maps are just horrid, especially considering the money these games fetch. Don't Marshall have a single person in their sway who can use **modern** vector software to improve their maps? Maybe put some hex IDs on the maps? .

Apparently, you have to print your own rulebook, too. LOL! But, as Jeff says, not many Octobers of this left. Probably a mercy at this point.

What is the width and length of the maps when laid out for the main battle? In inches?

106.5 in by 47.25 in. allowing for a little slippage of course...
