Thanks for those "nooks and crannies" --------------- in a song that's just right for working on that hybrid picking. Now i can finally play it right.

Short and sweet one with hybrid picking..always love the sound and feel of it...enjoyed listening and learning to do this. Thank you for elaborating it in such detail.

Such a decpetive into, I have been trying to play right since the day it came out. Nobody will ever do it as cool and greasy as Rev.G. Thanks Scott for this and all you share and teach.

Yes one must never forget that Billy's squeeze those notes out.. and I saw an interview with Billy and he said one time that it was an accident he found that out

Scott, Sorry still unclear as to which strings you're actually picking at the same time??
@bloozedaddy3 күн бұрын
Open A string along with the fretted 3rd & 4th strings
@johnsimms45013 күн бұрын
@@bloozedaddy Ok, so you're picking 3 strings at once for the rhythm of the song. Thx.
@simonvanderheijden4323 күн бұрын
@@johnsimms4501 Not really, you alternate between the A string (with the pick) and the D and G strings (with your fingers)
@seraines3 күн бұрын
3rd string (ring finger) and 4th string (middle finger) is how I’m doing it. My hybrid picking is typically the pick and those two fingers.

Awesome as always! Your tones are always spot on! One my favorites to play on bass as well.
