The Conservatives stole two Labour policies to fund tax cuts in their budget. And now Labour has kicked off its local election campaign with some rather familiar-sounding promises.

That’s a false argument by the elite. It’s about resources to build such things. If the resources are there, it can be done. And the resources are there. They’re just being used to benefit the minority. Tax isn’t to raise money to do such things. It’s to change the purchasing power of the rich so the resources become available for the government to use.

We need a new opposition party to the conservatives because this is just the same old approaches, the exact opposite to what the British people want. We want public ownership, free tuitions in England, and a real investment in the working class and lower classes - not just policies targeted at the upper middle classes. We don't want free tuitions. It devalues degrees and encourages waste of resources. Not to mention, there would most certainly be a way/loop hole for non British people to get free tuition too. The WORKING class need more support, the people on minimum wage. The pretend working class tradies on 50k plus un-disclosed income, not so much. Middle class also need more help. You basically need to be rewarded for positively contributing to society instead of this dystopia we are in. Public ownership of services - YES.

Free tuitions would most definitely make the job market more competitive for sure, but let’s not forget attending university is not simply for job preparation, but rather to be educated and indulge with matters of the mind. This should be a concomitant focus in the argument, as the freedom that derives from such inquires is such a thing of beauty that any egalitarian society should want bestowed on its citizens. And the only dystopia I see is one dominated by the values of avarice and alienation, emanated from the majority of the upper middle classes. These have been the habitual attitudes and opinions of our political system, and have managed to thrive even through the emergence and transience of different political movements - it needs to stop.

I for one would gladly pay MORE tax for INVESTMENT in our public services and infrastructure. I do however also wonder if we are the most heavily taxed since the war EXACTLY where all the money is going? There’s zero need for the ordinary citizen to pay more tax. There’s 2 pools of money under an exploitative system such as capitalism. But they don’t want to take away from the ever growing pool belonging to the owner class.
