I am so happy with how my drum kit sounds on that video ! I really tried to outdo myself and push my production skills even further to try to obtain a colossal sound as heard on Ashen !
It is no surprise Buster is an immense inspiration !
A big thanks to him and his studio Odeholm Audio to let us have the stems to analyse his production.

Just discovered you and holy shit dude, you're so underrated. The quality in this video - the playing, the videography, the sound (the drums sound incredible)... insane. Instantly earned a like and a sub Btw: I'm currently working on recording my own EP and that kick drum sounds monstrous... would it be okay with you if I sample it? Totally understandable if it's not

Hell yeah !! It is a blend between my Tama Starclassic Bubinga 14"x8" Snare with some samples with a lot of processing (compression, saturation, EQ…), and a whole lot of reverb (room near / far and effects reverb). Cheers !

Yeaaaah ! So stocked for having found a great blend of my acoustic snare and carefully picked samples to complement and a LOT of processing (compression, saturation in parallel etc…) and a fair amount of reverb !

I then started a audiovisual school in 2014 and from then there was never a day without me thinking of sound techniques, discovering new gear etc… I am very proud of how my videos have evolved through time !
