BluegrassTeam.com call Ken - seller is motivated 859-494-5521
This isn’t your grandpa’s cabin. Cabins are no longer a shack in the woods, they are a lifestyle. Welcome to the new Cabin Culture with this wooded property. It’s huge - and has everything - Fireplace, bar, firepit, hot tub, BBQ, Views, woods, etc… Cabin on Lake Cumberland sleeps 20, FP, Outdoor Bar, Firepit - Family use or Rental Income - or both. Lake Cumberland House for sale.
One of the nicest “Cabins” on Lake Cumberland you’ll find. Use it as a family compound, a legacy property - or a lake rental when it is convenient for YOU to rent it out. (when you’re not using it, right?) :-)
You know how I am about family - well this family home is special - and it also has super rental history - and income. This home also sleeps 20 people in beds - bring your whole crew - yes, you can even bring that weird brother in law - the house is so big, you can dodge him when you see him coming! :-)
Even the walk-out basement has “bunks” - a boys side that sleeps 6 with private bath -- and a girls side that sleeps 6 with another private bath. It is about 3800± sf of living space upstairs and about 1100± sf of living space in the walk-out basement.
I can’t say enough good about this 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath property. It sits on almost an acre on Lake Cumberland - set in a cove with a view of the Marina in the distance.
SUPER convenient location 10 minutes to I-66 - Cumberland Parkway. 70 minutes to I-75.I promised the seller I would sell it for them.
The sellers are asking $400k - and the rental income covers the mortgage, so call me to come see it, Ken 859-494-5521 and thank you for helping me sell it for these folks by sharing this with family and friends.
VIDEO coming - hold tight - we’ll have them hopefully the beginning of next week! I’m excited too.

LAKE CUMBERLAND HOUSE KENTUCKY LAKE HOUSE FOR SALE:
[00:00:03] You know, I always want to show you cool places, this is another cool place. This is a lake house down here on Lake Cumberland, which is amazing, 64000 acres. And I want to tell you where you're at. First of all, if you go out this way and come down 1:27 or come up the Cumberland Parkway, it's the corner 1:27, which is a big road. And in the Cumberland Parkway, which is part of the I-66 thing, I don't know if that ever was completed or whatever, but that's part of Interstate 66, that seven miles that way in a little town called Russell Springs. Cute little place and it's close to a lot of things and of course, it's all about the lake economy here. So you turn there 7 miles down a nice road and then you just turn right in here. It's just a couple 100 feet up there and you are at this captain's point and you're right on Lake Cumberland, which is 64000 acres, 120 miles long, over 1200 miles of shoreline because it goes and wiggles and wiggles, all these little coves 1200 miles. So you've got the beautiful gates here and you've got this is all stamped concrete. LAKE CUMBERLAND HOUSE KENTUCKY LAKE HOUSE FOR SALE:
[00:01:13] So it looks like Belgian blocks and then this part here. This is such a nice design. Everything's nice here. This is like a cut stone or shale or something like that. But it's concrete. So we'll be here a long, long time. Check this out. Isn't that beautiful? This is all stone. So you're saying to me just the other day they said, wow, that property looks really beautiful. Why is it so beautiful as well? First of all, if it's underground electric, that helps and this property's got the exact same thing. So everything's underground here. You've got all power transformers. Look at this. So, you know, there's not going to be any unsightly wires or poles or any of that and this is just the most glorious fall day, I just love the fall It smells good It sounds good. You got all the rustling leaves.

Just wanted to let you know that we love most of your properties that you display for sale. We are living in the UK and just love watching your places especially in the woods and countryside. You are so spoilt over there with the size of land parcels and beautiful cabins etc. The prices are to die for too! Keep up the good work.

Yep, I was stationed in great Britain on a RAF in the 80s and the airmen when they would fly to the United States and fly over the United States were always shocked at the expanse and how large our country actually is

The UK prices have gone bonkers in my opinion. I have just found out that my house is worth a ton of money and it’s likely to be sold as a weekend home for Londoners! I’m right by the beach at Bournemouth and it’s impossible to even get a towel down! I’m leaving for America to live my life 💕💫

High ceilings are nice to look at, the room will never get warm , it has too much volume. Slot of wood on the house needs replacing. Multi story houses send repair cost thru the roof and end up in kept. The squirrels are cute but will destroy the wood on the outside of the house. Always have at least a two foot overhang on your roof, it protects the siding. The larger over hangs allow you to keep the windows open when it's raining. If you build a hip roof on your house you reduce maintenance cost by not having gables to paint, clean and maintain. Design your house with exposed ducting in the living area, it will be a 100 percent more efficient than ducts in the attic or under the house. Not to mention air quality will be better. Have a roof with no more than 5/12 pitch, easier to roof and maintain. Have the floor level at least 12 inchec above finished outside grade and allow for landscape material. Plant bushes no closer than four feet from the house, I like five. This gives plants room to grow and be properly trimmed. It also allows access to maintain the house siding and windows. Have only three foot doors to allow easy furniture movement in and out of the house. Have at least 4 foot halls, I like 5 . Again ease of movement around the house. Taller ceilings of ten foot will allow plenty of room for the exposed ducts. Doors with operating transoms allow God better more efficient heat and air movement. Porches should be a minimum 8 foot deep and covered. Have windows no lower than 30 inches to the floor, build in the window header over the windows to extend at least 20 inches past both sides of the finished window. This allows a solid mounting surface for curtain rods and it also allows the curtains to be pulled fully back from the window. Always have the finished window at least 2 foot out of room corners, again to allow proper curtains. Always think of how difficult it will be to do things in the house if something has to be replaced, or you injure yourself and need crutches, Walker or wheelchair. Always have a single story house. If you do not have a well thought out house one injury can make your home useless to you, you may even have to sell it. From the front porch have the finished garde 4 inches below the finished porch surface. Grade away from the porch to the driveway allowing for 1/8 inch drop per foot with the finished grade for the walk 4 inches below the driveway surface. Now pour a five foot wide walkway and you will tell people that's the. Best idea you ever had. Walking or in a wheelchair you will never notice the incline. Ada and the V A will tell you 1/4 inch per foot, builders will tell you drainage issues, water runs down hill even if it's a 1/8 inch hill. I married my wife at 22 and she was 18 and had just gotten out of the V A with a broken back , they gave her twenty years to live she made 33 years. These are things we learned in 33 years and building three different houses, along with living in some rentals along the way. No matter how careful you are planning a house you will always find things you should have done differently, that's the way it goes. A wheelchair house does not have too look like one, no one knows my house is a wheelchair house unless I tell them, but life is so much easier in a well planned house. Just thought I would pass along a little of what we learned in all the years, she's not here anymore but I can tell you I would never build an old style house again, always think of function over style when building your home. Remember you have to put furniture in the rooms and get around it.

Hello I started running on these Waters in about 1973 something like that, I was maby 14 years up or a small camping or cabins things like that some of them got to be really and they were glad they brought their daughter because if they had daughters they had us Hillbillies around help building their cabins some of the cabin for really nice rock walls they were really good people they would even pay us money you know at the end of the week so we have money to take their daughters out they were great peoples I still have friends from that time. They really helped our standard of living raise to cuz you know we were working making money could geta nice cars at no way in the world could we have got alone as good as we were were with just by our you kno out of the 7th 8th grade but now we're making money that you know who didn't know what to do with so we can buy our fast cars and boats just a lot of others think they really have this a lot you know coming out of the recession after World War II trac's add income to Lake Cumberland and can't stomach set up their Camp you know stay all summer and we would get the news know them real well of course we all played instruments banjos and stuff and they played daughters so yeah we had a heck of a good time. You know everybody got along in a wouldent allow no arguing way, or not asked if we would help them build their cabins at their building cabins and stuff is in young kids you know I'm just having a blast best part of my childhoodï,,,Thxs again for posting and giving me a chance to sputter a bit,, love forever, gb

I somehow missed this one but was immediately attached by the thousand or so acres. Little did I know it was under one acre! It’s in a fantastic location and had it been available today I would definitely view it for an investment property. I’d love something akin to this but with land. Anything from 10-50 acres plus. I love your choices and am only sorry that you are short of stock. Perhaps if you help me find the land I can make a difference 😉 Thank you again for another sleepless in Kentucky as I imagine number one. I’ll be with you soon unless you have the perfect property available immediately.
