This was a great video. 👍 You diffently narrate a great story. Tournament fishing is a whole different feeling deep down in your belly. Losing that nice king hurt fir sure. But that's all part of it. What a honor to fish with a Seasoned Captain an crew. Thanks for taking us along. Love the banana in the rod holder.

I find the difference in the great lakes fishing and west coast salmon fishing interesting in that you seem to not reduce your speed after you hook up. Many times I see the fish being dragged acrossed the water. I've never done that or seen it done that way out west. We always slow down or stop especially with the big ones. But whatever works for you all is great.

I love the style of your videos and the narration thanks for taking us along good to see a clip of the Polecat as well. I used to spend all of August in Frankfort fishing with my late dad now I'm lucky to make it over that way 4 or 5 days a year. You are 100% right about each moment being spent on the great lakes being magical hopefully by this time next year I'll have my Lake Michigan boat. Keep up the great work.

Awesome! Capt Paul took us (my ex wife, my daughter, and I) in the river about 15 years ago. I swear we caught 30 steelhead out of one hole. Three man limit in no time at all and one of the best trips of my life.

That boat the sandpiper 3 run by Kevin Hughes is a shoot off from the original sandpiper we ran. Kevin would captain our boat when we not able to run it. The he bought a boat and called it the sandpiper 2. Kind of took all our clients with him.

"Lots of kings around" this sounds like a good thing for this year's run. Is it too early to predict quality of the run?
@dannyboy59582 жыл бұрын
King runs not gonna be the best this year I don’t think. Tons of 1-2 year old fish but anything over 15 pounds is hard to come by. Down in holland things are starting to pick up. With 7-10 last Saturday all over 10 pounds big boy was 30.4 lbs. so there are some. Went out the next day went 3-4 all 1-5 pound shakers
