all along i was trying to practice this..but only today i was able to really concentrate and follow properly..i have asthma..i'm a nurse too..too much tired most of the time and i couldn't practice it. But i sincerely did it..i will follow and make it a daily routine. Thank you doc😇

One of the fundamental points in Pranayama is that the breathing must be diaphragmatic or abdominal. Ie Inspiration - abdomen comes our first and then the chest. In expiration abdomen goes IN. Everything else you describe is excellent!

Thanks a lot for the simple explanation. Some teachers say you should not make sound for inhalation/exhalation, at all and some say don't make any facial movements or goshti. Kindly tell us anulom - vilom too. If you can tell more as to how to easily keep count of the seconds of inhalation, withholding and exhalation it will be useful.
