Today I am going to teach you guys how to make Grilled Lamb Chops Biryani,
It’s my personal recipe & I created it to have the grilled bbq flavor Lamb Chops with the amazing flavor of Traditional Biryani!!!
LAMB CHOPS:-
5 LBS Lamb Chops
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
1 TBL SPN Garlic Ginger Paste
1 TBL SPN Salt
2 TSP BLK Pepp
1 TBL SPN Coriander Powder
1 TBL SPN Granulated Garlic Powder
BIRYANI MASALA:-
1 1/2 TBL SPN Red Chili
1 1/2 TBL SPN Salt
1 1/2 TBL SPN Coriander
1/2 TSP Turmeric
1 TBL SPN Garam Masala
3 BLK Cardimon Pods
2 Bay Leaves
1 Cinnamon Stick
1/2 TBL SPN Cumin Powder
GREEN RAITA;-
1 Bunch Cilantro (washed)
2 Cups Yogurt
2 Green Chilies
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP BLK Pepper
Blend in a blender
KACHUMAR SALAD:-
2 Med Onion (chopped)
2 Roma Tomatoes (chopped)
2 Cucumber (peeled & chopped)
1 Bunch Cilantro (washed & chopped)
1 Lemon
Salt & Pepper to taste
YELLOW FOOD COLORING:-
Make the desired amount of SAWAD food coloring, following the method from the bottle . Add a few strands of SAFFRON, A few drops of oil & a few drops of lemon Juice.

Before you ate the biryani did you let it cook by itself on low heat? And if you did how long did you let it cook by itself?

Could you please elaborate on how to make that food coloring liquid that you dash over the rice? I the description you mention 'yellow' food coloring but the end color lools bright orange?

It's because he adds saffron in it. He mentioned it in his videos. You can use any food color from any brand. It won't affect the taste of biryani.

Looks so nice. My dum biryanis don’t turn out like this, the rice gets too sticky and soft. How much do you pre cook your rice and how long do u keep it on dum? Thank you

thank you man you r not over stepping, I always put rice on dum as well. its such an obvious step that I didn't feel the need to show it but I have mentioned it a few times instep that need to be taken .

thank you the rule i live by is when you get second boil in your pot or the rice has doubled in size that's when strain it, layer , Tawa, cloth on the pot now this is the trick . I dum on high heat for 5 to 6 mins & then on med heat for 10 mins. To check if the rice is done take a spoon & press it against the rice, if nothing stick you r good to go. it took me a few tries to get the right rhythm but this way works.

Hi Basant, your recipes are amazing and easy to follow. I wanted to know more in detail how exactly you make the food coloring, since that makes a huge difference. Please let me know the steps you do starting from the swad food coloring -how much exactly of the ingredients you use. I just need it to be exactly like yours : ) please let me know ASAP. Thank You.

Thank you so much for taking the timeout to watch my work & appreciating it . food coloring is extremely easy I use SAWAD food coloring powder form , so you make the desired amount following the direction on the bottle & add a few drops of lemon juice

I am confused so for the food coloring you mixed the SAWAD food coloring, lemon juice, saffron strands and oil all together and then pour it on the biryani?? And if I can't find SAWAD food color what can I use instead?

Brand isn't important. You can use food color from any brand.

I am sorry I will never tell if someone is wrong, Because we all have our own way of cooking. Oil settles at the bottom of the pot is just terrible so I get rid of it. No one ever wants to eat oil soaked rice ever. Just speaking from experience having cooked for thousands of my clients.

Sorry to burst your bubble fella but this isn't anything new it's called BIR cooking, this is an abbreviated term for 'British Indian Restaurant' cooking. It refers to the common techniques and practices used in many Indian takeaways and curry houses in the UK. The techniques have since spread worldwide as a quick and easy way to make curry and Indian style food. Every uk curry house makes the biryani this way
