I'm saying this because I have a similar one as well, a net with plastic lining, and it actually does not fog up if you correctly adjust it with your nose (it's hard to explain) but like it was totally unnecessary to hold any kind of social event in the virus and if she stands THAT close to people, it really doesn't matter if she has a mask or not so yeah she is at fault p.s. yeah I don't wear that in public because you really can't tell if there's plastic or not (without touching or looking closely) and I don't wanna get scolded or fined lol but ig she lacks common sense
@sharamusica3 жыл бұрын
There is anti fog plastic used now for plastic masks. This whole controversy is pretty stupid though. People went there at their own risk. It’s not fans are brain dead zombies who aren’t responsible either. They showed up. The internet has become today’s Parthenon where citizens come to to judge who we should feed to the lions. The whole thing makes me fear society’s fate. I do believe narcissism is our number one problem. It’s all about likes and views. If you have the right opinion the trending opinion the more likes and views you get. Lana nailed it. We don’t care about social causes we care about the likes and internet’s approval. Everyone walking on egg shells in fear of getting cancelled. It’s not freedom of speech that’s on the chopping block it’s freedom of thought. I hate where our society is headed I hope the swinging of pendulum evens out because society is being torn down to the point where there will be nothing left.

"You can marry a black person for all I care, and still be racist." Straight facts. My white grandma married my Puerto Rican grandfather and told him he was never allowed to speak spanish because she can't understand it and had no intentions of learning. She says she doesn't want his side of the family to speak spanish either, fun fact, most of them can't speak English. On top of that, they're collectively racist towards everyone that isn't them. Hispanic, asian, black, got a good tan over summer? Well then you won't be spared from the passive aggressive comments, or even outright racism. It sucks. Lost a huge part of my culture growing up because Puerto Rican culture, language, ect. Is off limits. On top of that my siblings and I had to crawl our way out of that racist background, and distance ourselves from those fucked up views. Thanks fam.

@@ellaocean Yeah it's fucked. I can't tell you how many times I asked about culture growing up or made an attempt to learn spanish only to find that I wasn't learning the right language and dialect, but that my grandfather was too afraid to teach me because his wife might hulk rage about it. She pretty much forced him and by extension my family to live in a permanent state of code switching. I'm bummed about the loss of my own culture, but most of all I'm ashamed of the racist environment and behavior that was passed down to my father, and almost passed down to my siblings and I. We're lucky as hell we grew up with so much exposure to the world, and that my mum would constantly turn around and tell us those kinds of racist beliefs were wrong and cruel. Not sure why she married him knowing his racist beliefs, but I'm glad she's my mom, and not some bigot willing to bend to that kind of behavior all together. I fully understand all of the arguments given in this video, but commenting about things like this is just unnecessary and not fitting, since it could spark even more discussions. Also Lana doesn’t really sing about violence and age gap relationships in a positive way, wich you could’ve noticed if you’d listen closely. Ddlg isn’t necessarily an age gap relationship too, since it’s role play. I don’t get why people can’t just stop shaming the bdsm community and leave people to have their kinks (if they don’t harm anyone), since one of the biggest rules in bdsm and with that ddlg is consent.

@@juniper7941 yeah sure. Lana said that the album is about friends and family. So in her problematic post, she made comments which read like “I have a black friend, therefore I’m not racist.” But the reason they read like that, was because the album is about her friends. It was never about if she’s racist or not. It was about inclusivity in the photo. And she said that she had POC friends (because the album is about friends-not because she’s saying “I have POC friend therefore I’m not racist”. People are attacking her because they don’t know that the album is about friends. The post reads as racist if you don’t know that the album about friends, it sounds like she’s tokenizing. Now, Lana is not innocent she made a mistake, she implied that black people are all rappers-which is insensitive. But, that’s the only thing she did wrong. Stan culture is just unnecessary. There's no need to "stan" anyone. You can like her music or her artistry, but there's no need to like her as a person. Of course, supporting her music supports her directly, so it's really up to personal preference what people do with this information in regard to buying/listening to her music. But, her "shutting up" now doesn't take back what she already said. I think people need to realize that celebrities are humans and none of them are without fault. Once people start seeing them like people, then they can stop being glamorized and obsessed over. The lives many people think celebrities have are just projected ideas of what many people hope their lives are and not how they actually are.

The downside of the democratization of mental health via the internet is that the untrained/uneducated have no idea of how much NUANCE goes into diagnostics. Or that we all have many axes, or dimensions, of our consciousness that may be expressed differently across settings. Nor that there is almost always a yin & yang reciprocity to ends of these spectrums, like that of the empath-narcissist dynamic. Hell, even a lot of trained clinicians fail to appreciate that. I see the same people championing mental health awareness use their partial awareness to weaponize psychiatric diagnoses to punish thought they personally dislike. It’s so hypocritical and disturbing. The infinite hall of mirrors and psychological projection...

@@MikasaAckerman-zc5nj lol simmer down, I get your point. At the same time, a lot of people associate the term “sociopath” or “sociopathy” with a very watered-down stereotype of what actually that means.
