I had a 2003 Lancer LS, sold it at 152,000 miles. Only issue was a radiator leak around 90,000miles, and needing a new paint job, no rust at all since I lived in Arizona, and Southern California. She always drove like a champ, I took good care of her and didn't let me down. It truly was a great car and miss it. Traded her in for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Also running great.

I'm watching the whole Lancer Fix playlist. I can't believe your buying and doing of this stuff for the 3rd time on this car. I would've stripped the blue one before I handed it over to the insurance company. I did that on my last vehicle when somebody hit me. Insurance company bought it, but I stripped my alarm, stereo, etc off of it before I gave it to them. It just went to a salvage yard anyways. My stereo system alone was worth almost what they gave me for the car...they weren't getting it. I took my good tires off of it and gave them a set of crappy ones. I even took the battery out of it that was brand new.

+DarkDragonWing when the insurance companies decide how much they are going to give you for your car, they HARDLY EVER add in the cost of any aftermarket equipment or wheels. It just ends up being stuff that the scrap man gets. When my car got totalled, I just had spent like 600 bucks on a set of factory leather seats, that didn't effect the value at all. I had already bought something different so I didn't take them, but it was still 600 bucks gone. My point is, take everything that you can.

I saw that you used an Autel MaxiScan on one of your videos, which model do you recommend or a better tool?

+hollow3501 I use MaxiScan MS309 version, and it's alright, it does the work. Though, when having multiple codes, it doesn't show all of them. So I have fix one code, erase all of them, and then wait until the other faulty codes to show up. I guess MS310 is a newer version and should be better. cheers

Nada Ahmed It should be attached to the throttle. Take a look around the throttle body to see if you can find a plug that looks like a sensor.

There shouldn't be any, you basically just delete the cruise control.

@@user-hv9bx6yp4g ohh That I'm not sure. You will have to find out yourself. Usually there are brackets/holes for the cruise control that aren't used in non-cruise control model. But I can't confirm for this one.
