@@timbutton4990 Your not wrong, a finish of this quality, especially given the start point, will come at a price. Having said that, this car is special to its owner, the cost might not make sense but the value most certainly must. Harry’s garage projects of this type should not just be measured in monetary terms, if he can afford the best then why not? The investment in associated supply chain skills will benefit many not just Harry. All of those who follow this channel are making there contribution, if I were to thank Harry for anything it would be for investing and creating a vehicle for us to do this, I suspect this is not the first time either, Evo for example. As an Italian, I thank you for saving this beautiful car from the oaf that had it before you.
@ianworley81692 жыл бұрын
To be fair, it was probably many oafs responsible for the state of the Zagato. It's decline was probably started before it even left Lancia. As a previous owner of a Lancia Beta Coupe, they were beautiful to look at and drive, but rotted out in a few years.
@johnsmith14742 жыл бұрын
The "oafs" that owned this no doubt drove it with enthusiasm and loved it with pride and nostalgia, and did restoration appropriate to the value of the car at the time, which was far less than today. Today the capitalism of world empire has pushed so much economic gain to the few that the price of every decent old thing has shot through the roof and this sort of expenditure can be accommodated. As an Italian you should have at least some appreciation of economic injustice.
