Finally got a chance to do a little land clearing. But it didn't last long.

Good stuff. Some of your older stuff popped up. A 306 is a pretty sweet machine. Still can’t believe how fast they are.

I really miss that machine. I did price one yesterday lol

@@smithworx1091 what they hit you at? I think my boss picked his up for 74 and the next one was like 85. Now I think they are 120+ from what my Rep was telling me.

@2poor2farm 13 this one had 82 hrs on it for around 90k. A new one is 120k. Makes me sick.

Enjoyed the video. I hate sweetgum trees myself. They seem to always be 3 or more in a group and they drake they bend.

I hate them too. And have deep tap roots!

This video says 1 month ago. Man you've upped your game. See you now running the 313 and D3 with root rake. Onward and upward my friend.

Yeah I've had the 313 since last June. It was hard to keep the D3 a surprise until it came in lol

Type of grapple you need is a vertical root rake grapple. I believe Landpride makes a decent one that won’t kill the wallet to bad
@smithworx10912 жыл бұрын
Yes i think that style will be really good for pushing piles. Have you owned or used one?
@williamduncan56282 жыл бұрын
@@smithworx1091 It will be much better than your typical L style grapple yes. They open up vastly more than L style. Not as good for grabbing logs in my opinion but looks like the trade off you are needing

What do you use to haul this equipment? An F-350 with dual back tires or something like that?

I use a dodge 2500 with a gooseneck. Sometimes I would use my semi to move the 306 and 299 together

The video was awesome as always, but I’m your opinion how do you think the 306 did on this job I thought it did good.

Thanks a lot bro. I thought it did very well. Wait till the next video. You see what she can really do! 😎

I'm in the market for one. The next video I use the skid steer to push the piles around. I don't know if I want a grapple or like a root rake style grapple. I want something wide but tall

Now that is my kind of job too, love those kind. I will sale you my grapple 😫. Might not want it after you see it on my video and I give it down the road for being aggravating. BURN BABY BURN!

The fire didn't last long. Got put out by the rain. I think I want a root rake style grapple that is really wide and tall. Like the Talon root rake.
