So glad to hear someone else cursing and swearing when work goes in a frustrating direction. When I used to run Series Land Rover's of both petrol and diesel derivatives I used to swerve Britpart stuff because it was junk. And that was over thirty years ago. Top content as usual young man!

Such a pain Richard about the replacement starter motor - interesting as I have had a similar problem from the same supplier on another starter motor for a P38 I wasn't as logical as you marking the shaft but it defintely had a faulty pole !! - I wonder if they are from the same maker ?? - good to see the update though - nice one 😀

Thanks for the continued production of your videos, Richard. I've been a little lost with 'Lucas Classic' - I emailed them a few years ago regarding manufacture of the brake switch for series 3's (goes in the top of the master cylinder), having become fed up with the brit part units that were made of cheese - only to get a response from a 'Britpart' email address ... I'm buoyed by the fact you've had more success with their offerings, and will give them a whirl.

I believe that Britpart are handling Lucas Classic (Red/Black box) for Land Rover parts. SNG may be handling it for Jaaaaag etc Pleased you are enjoying the channel 👍

Doesn’t that piss you off, I live in a very remote location, ordering a part can take weeks to get here, then shit like that happens, very frustrating. Britpart should buy you a pint Cheers
