That's a rowley darkslide. A rowley dark is when one foot is in the middle of the board, or off of the tail/nose.
@simppimp40134 ай бұрын
Yanno as a skater that’s skated my whole life I never knew that. I just thought darkslides in general was exactly what he was doing, but now since I think about it and think back on all the darkslides I’ve seen I just realized that there are multiple ways of doing em like you said hahaha. That’s dope bro, learn something new everyday yanno 😂
@simppimp40134 ай бұрын
Also if you notice originally he was doing it one on nose one on the tail, but when he got to day 2 he switched it up to the Geoff rowley dark slide lmaooo I didn’t even realize rowley did it that way man I haven’t watched old school skate parts in a fat min bro you just gave me hella nostalgic memories mentioning rowley.

Youve never skated a day in your life if you ask that lol plus the dark slide isnt even hard. I wasnt very good and i could dark slide. I did it by accident the first time and i just tried to do exactly what I had just done and i got jt. Flipping it back was the part that was hardest but after a couple of tries you get it. Man some good times. Just recently i tried a kick flip after not setting foot on a board for over 10 years and got it first try. It was glorious.

I have a trick I call the "juggalo pop"... it's where I'm riding the board, I take the back foot off the board while in motion, lighten up the pressure on the front foot that is still on the board, allowing the board to continue to roll. Then once the tail of the board and the front foot meet, press down on the tail and make it pop up, flipping and catching it with the same hand has the foot that popped it, let it continue to rotate while in ur hand and jump back onto the board, landing the trick
