Emergence Zone needs more love. The closest version you get to this effect on a land is Winding Canyon which only works on creatures. Emergence Zone works on any spells, plural, you cast that turn; ask yourself do you want to win on your opponents turn? Oh and one more thing SHOUT OUT for Hall of Heliods Generosity, 6.49$USD does the same thing as Volrath Stronghold but for Enchantments, don't sleep on this card! :P

Absolutely right about emergence zone. I used it just the other day to use a martial coup to stop an elfball deck attack with craterhoof. And that's a mild example of what Emergence Zone does!

Thespian's Stage is nuts in Ashaya, copy any creature you own in mono-green? Yes please!

I've seen somebody use a Thespian's Stage to copy a God Eternal Oketra that had a Song of the Dryads on it. That's an interesting interaction.

One of the guys at my LGS has been high on Tower of the Magistrate since I got back in to magic. It's a really good card. There's always somebody trying to abuse equipments.

Dust Bowl is a ridiculously great utility land. Volrath's Stronghold is great but super expensive, I got lucky and bought one back in high school. Opal Palace is one of my favorite commander specific lands- make your commander bigger and better and it filters mana in a pinch when someone destroys a critical color source.

Absolutely, Emergence Zone in every deck!! Alchemist's Refuge if you're running Simic. Slayer's Stronghold in Boros. Ash Barrens in 3+ colors. Desolate Lighthouse in discard decks. Tomb of the Spirit Dragon for colorless/artifact creature decks.

I disagree about Reliquary Tower, I think too many people blindly throw this into decks. Discarding to hand size and keeping your best 7 really isn't a big drawback to having too many cards, especially given the uptick in recursion in most colors. In 3+ colors decks the colorless mana is a drawback too or in color intensive decks like NIv-Mizzet, Parun the colorless mana can be a liability.

Look man, Hadou-Ken, I be hearing you preach, but Arena let's your opponent choose which creature they're gonna pit against yours. Still works as a removal if you've got the stronger creature, but if we're going up against a token strategy, they be chump fighting us all day. Used to play in a fight themed deck, didn't go as planned.
